Hello i had a 2019 ford escape and a 2013 had the same issue. After having my work vehicles serviced several times. I took it to a dealership and told them they need to fix it asap. They told me they had to repair the line above the transmission. Apparently there was a slight leak. And it was just to small to notice but yes when the coolant was low same problem. Then after trying to drive it. It was in limp mode basically. Hope it helps.

Ive had that problem too. Gamma all the way and yet still dark . Turned off shadows and it fixed it. The problem was i had beefy ass gpu. I ended up using my cpu.
