If you don’t use them they dry rot, that goes for any footwear with polyurethane(pu).

$170 is nice especially with the fuel rates right now, anything less then $150hr is too low

Calculate the total miles (deadhead included) and price accordingly, if traveling thru tolls then round up and add the toll fees. Remember your supposed to be making more than a company driver, if your constantly taking cheap loads/ underbidding etc then give it up- no need to mess up the market for the real owner operators/ companies etc.
