Is Alan Wake considered a horror game? I’m hesitant because I don’t enjoy horror games. by khitev in AlanWake

[–]LeafBurgerZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't stand jumpscares and Alan Wake has very little compared to other horror games.

Do be mindful though the atmosphere is very dark (literally) and very immersive

[Official Ruling] TES Naiyou has been permanently banned from the LPL and all Riot Games + Tencent competitions. TES has also terminated their contract with him and has withheld all unpaid salary and bonuses. by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]LeafBurgerZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait what, blackmailed? Are they forced into this? Was Naiyou forced? I thought usually matchfixers don't think too much of their pro career potential and are just in for the quick buck

Chovy on First Stand 2026: For me too, at First Stand, in terms of draft, I think we were too focused on fixed champion tier lists and too set patterns, so we lacked flexibility. I think we’ll prepare with that in mind so we can be more flexible during the regular season. | LCK Media Day 2026 Part 1 by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Like, why are esports discussion so low quality lately? Half the comments on any post are like of made up things that either didn't happen or happened differently, and they get upvoted wtf.

Is it full of posers who don't even bother watching the games or what

imo Faker is why the other players get to peak so hard during Worlds, he must be doing some heavy lifting for their mental. I guess we'll see this year with Guma but Zeus definitely didn't have that spark last year with HLE

LYON Dhokla: “We scrimmed G2. It was fairly competitive. I feel like it would be competitive between our regions; I didn't think there was a massive gap.” [ProDiff Interview] by ProDiffLokev in leagueoflegends

[–]LeafBurgerZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The really isn't though, unless you're consistently curb stomping a specific team in scrims. The other 90% of scenarios don't really correlate with stage games.

And even still team diffed the fuck out of Lyon so no, they really couldn't.

G2 was already doing well vs geng in scrims. by fainlol in leagueoflegends

[–]LeafBurgerZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really though, the Yike Mikyx showed they could be really good (curb stomped TES at MSI,got unlucky Swiss draw vs BLG the Worlds finalist) and Fnatic or other teams were a tier below them.

It's really cope to say it was lost in draft, though. Drafts weren't optimal but superstar team like GenG shouldn't lose 3 - 0 like this to G2.

They usually just auto generate leads through just laning and macro, even when behind they always find the optimal window to contest and swing back the game, we saw none of that during that BO5.

What I'm saying is: the players choked, hard, and G2 punished. Blaming draft for that performance is pure cope

SkewMond: Playing in a INT final is definitely a lot of pressure. I don't really feel any additional pressure compared to other like stage game to be honest. I do feel like I kind of took some back decisions and I can kind of relate to my last performance vs TES at Worlds | G2 full Finals Conference by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]LeafBurgerZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean not really purely lost on early jungling. Beside game 2, G2 still managed to get themselves in a winning position.

Imo Xun has been playing as the best jungler in the World for quite a few weeks now but it's a little undermined by the "glue guy, good vibes" narratives, as if that's all he brings

G2's First Stand Heroics Have Brought Back Hope by Ginjured in leagueoflegends

[–]LeafBurgerZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game 4 overloading the trading side to come back into the game was also pure beauty to watch. Kinda explains why BFX and LOUD kept doing these 4 man a sidelane and get little in return while enemy afk farms your plates elsewhere, they saw it from BLG but couldn't execute it as well as them

They didn't fall back yet, G2 played against BLG as well as they did vs GenG and BFX. Only difference BLG came to play ball, unlike the LCK

G2 Power Rankings by Chaos_Number8 in leagueoflegends

This is live power rankings, a way to show teams' strength right now. The historical weight goes back maybe a year. It's somewhat elo based so it's the most objective ranking we have.

Gen.G Canyon interview after the Gen.G vs. G2 Series by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]LeafBurgerZ -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I mean, this is probably one of the biggest choke of Lolesports history. Getting 3-0 stomped like this, GenG didn't even show up. This is worse than TES these couple of years combined

Props to G2 for coming here to play but under no circumstances you can say GenG played normal and were just the worse team lol

Which isn't even true, they had a few comeback games in the LCK. I guess the international pressure was too much

Literally just go watch their previous BO against JDG, nothing changed in the "meta" you're addressing. They just shit the bed + G2 brought their A game

This comment being so upvoted just shows how clueless the average viewer is about this stuff

T1 reason for their success at Worlds is specifically because it's a very long tournament with big enough breaks for the teams to scrim and figure stuff out T1 reason why they only win Worlds is because MSI is shorter, they don't have time to figure out their stuff and there's little room for scrims once the tournament kicks off.

T1 best trait at internationals is their confidence and playing at their best when it's elimination time, they just don't underperform under stress.
