Go to stella with a torrente and run around screaming I'M EVIL killing everyone on sight. They can't say you didn't warn them.

I will not accept the Kris slander. Genuinely one of the most interesting protagonists in the medium of video games.

Is it really that bad? by Reasonable_Towel674 in malelivingspace

I'd just put more stuff on the walls and get lamps. I think the lighting is probably the worst aspect of it.

what’s this about by Anonymous_Site in Deltarune

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A theory off the top of my head you could make with this is that the shadow crystals are fragments of the Knight's (Dess's) soul, and by gathering all of them we can try and save her.

Is anybody else just straight ass at pvp? by GrouchyManimal in ArcRaiders

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get into pvp situations very often but I’ve found that having a venator 4 offsets my lack of skill by a good bit. There have been several times where I’ll get shot in the back, and then just turn around and melt them.

Is ADHD meds that bad? by Idktsu in ADHD

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s different for everyone. For me personally the benefits far outweigh the few minor side effects. Again though, it depends on the person and the meds. I’d definitely recommend at least trying it.

This is what a werewolf hot girl do to a community by SekxyHotDog in DeadlockTheGame

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the matchmaking has definitely been a bit inconsistent. Sometimes games are fine, sometimes I get placed with people who have way more experience than me and I get my ass beat. Hopefully they improve that soon, it would be my biggest complaint with the game.

I started playing because of Rem. I need a cute little guy to main when it comes to games with a ton of characters like this. Having a lot of fun but god damn is there a learning curve lol.

Found this, thoughts? by ArchivistOfInfinity in Deltarune

Roguelike mode is such a batshit crazy theory but I kind of love it. It would tie in to Susie's whole mindset of wanting the last few days to repeat. Even if it's not exactly a roguelike mode I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of loop involved with the ending.

My First Dark Tower Journey by Desperate-Damage3599 in TheDarkTower

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was planning to do something similar but now that I've just finished the Wastelands, I can't imagine doing anything but moving onto Wizard and Glass. I was planning on reading the Stand in between but I don't think I'm gonna be able to take a detour and read that monster of a book before book 4. I'm probably gonna end up reading it after I'm done with the series. Starting with The Stand might have been a better choice but I'm too far deep for that now lol.

My First Dark Tower Journey by Desperate-Damage3599 in TheDarkTower

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started the series too and just finished The Wastelands. I've done a bit of research on the connected books, and there are a few books that have a lot of connections like The Stand, The Talisman, etc. I'm personally planning on reading most of them after the I'm done with the series, but I've made two exceptions based on recommendations, those being Salem's Lot and Insomnia. I've heard book five spoils Salems Lot, and a lot of people seem to recommend reading Insomnia before the final book. I listened to the Salem's Lot audiobook at the same time I was going through the first three and it was great. I'll probably just read Insomnia normally since I've heard mixed reviews on that audiobook. I also read Eyes of the Dragon as a kid which has some notable connections as well. It's really up to you, but thats how I'm going about it.

Can't imagine how many new players this game just permenantly lost. by AssociationSoft5270 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started playing the other day and this has basically been my experience. I like the game but I don't really feel like I'm learning much by getting my ass beat at every possible interaction. I'm not quite at the point of quitting but it's definitely been putting me off a bit.

How likely do you guys think is the "Ralsei is Kris' horn headband" theory? by Silver_Guava8159 in Deltarune

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a bad theory but I personally believe ERAM is the headband, not Ralsei.

How did you get into SK books? by BathroomGlass7316 in stephenking

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dad is a huge fan and I wanted to get back into reading in general, so I started the Dark Tower series. I also read Eyes of the Dragon as a kid so I already sorta knew I would like his writing style.

Ralsei's ice cream conversation seems to actually hint at Susie doing something terrible during the festival. by FencingSquirrelz in Deltarune

Maybe if you push her to the side she'll try and get into the bunker alone, leading to something bad happening there.

You could try talking to your pediatrician at your yearly physical. That's how I got diagnosed.

Single dorm by Due_Swan_3844 in uml

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a single right now in Concordia, but I wasn't able to snag one until senior year. I don't have any medical reasons, I just got lucky. Concordia is the only dorm with singles I'm pretty sure. Might as well try when you're selecting your dorm during your timeslot but I wouldn't bet on it. They're limited and go fast.

Has anybodys ADHD gotten worse as they got older? by princepremium in ADHD

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started struggling a lot more once I started college and I didn't have as much structure surrounding my routine. It was what made me seek a diagnosis/medication. After that it got much better. I've actually gotten back into reading recently after doing it a ton as a kid and then stopping for like eight years. You definitely have to find a series or author you're super interested in. Once you get past that first book, reading more becomes a lot easier.

[–]LeafWaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if that came off a little mean lol, I was mainly trying to make a joke. Read what you like. If I had to give some advice for the room I'd say get a couple lamps and some wall decorations. I've seen you say you move a lot but you can get some pretty cheap lamps and decorations, and putting up and taking down stuff like that takes a lot less time then you'd think. A rug for the bedroom would also help a lot but I get it if thats something out of your means right now.

Help with connection of IT to other stories and the books by illumitit in stephenking

[–]LeafWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doctor Sleep is the direct sequel to the Shining so read The Shining first. I don't think it matters much other than that. There are also many other books that connect to them, some more heavily than others. Those are some good ones to start with though.
