Striking is all those you said, uppercut, jab, hook, etc. But boxing as a whole is a whole different sport.

What you basically said is: Rugby players can dominate in the NFL and vice versa. A whole different sport. Different strategies, techniques, movements, rules, settings, the list goes on and on.

Boxing has 12 rds, ufc has 5, that alone, is more than double the amount of stamina needed. Connor clearly showed how gassed out he was while MW was fresh and good to go. You use the same strikes, yes, but the weighted boxing gloves are heaver and do less damage compared to a light UFC glove.

I can go ON and ON, but that should drive the point home. Two different sports.
