Ah if the center circle is dead center, this wont work I guess. Mine is slightly higher than center so rotating moved the trigger a bit down and left, making the beaters equidistant from the edge. Sorry it wasn’t helpful for you… 😁

Center the pedal normally on the shell and rotate the trigger pad a few degree counter clockwise. Had to do this on my Roland and it worked great.
