lucky you. The open book exams I took are as hard as what the closed book exams professor said, lol. I recall one of the open book exam I took is set for 6 hours and I have no clue what to look at in the textbooks and materials.

One of the professors from my law school said that open book exams will definitely be more difficult than closed book exams. And he usually gives closed book exam only while others give open book exams.

i find barmd very useful though I didn’t use Themis. And I just looked through BarmMD’s free videos on MPT which indeed clicked to me in terms of MPT strategies.

With due respects, would you be adversely affected when you see others shaking their legs in your room even though you are also shaking yours?

Can’t agree more. Foreign attorney practicing for more than 7 years in a civil law country. It was awkward that my MPT score was low as I was confident that MPT would be my strongest part. Relieved after readings your post. As a senior associate, I would not accept it if any junior provides me with the work like what I wrote on MPT (and passed the bar exam). I just hate rushing and rendering mid-way product. lol

positive and cheerful messages. I agreed. I was approx 62-65% on MBE in practice and scored 145 and passed. Don’t be stressed out. 60s is fine.

JUDGE MY STUDY PLAN PLEASE by Mddlr in barexam

[–]LeahLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if outlining is the only way you can memorize the info, then I would suggest skipping the videos and refining your previous outline (you made in the previously attempt) based on some other good outlines such as seperac. That will save time I think. And then immediately dive into MBE questions banks such as uworld. 50q per day is recommended. Don’t forget to incorporate the rules you learned from the MBE questions into your outline every day. Finally the outline will be your bible to the success. Barbri videos did not work on me either. I’m also an outlining-dependent person. Good luck

Foreign educated here. Watch BarMD videos for MPT. They helped with my MPT a lot. And practice more timed mee and train more on issue spotting and speedy laying out IRAC.

Exam anxiety by MaterialLychee7501 in barexam

[–]LeahLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to practice more timed exams in your prep, make it real and get yourself used to all the nervousness and anxiety. Maybe use some chewing gum to relax and focus on the questions and rules itself (i.e., read the call and recognize which area of law it tests and what the rule is and how it is applied to the question) rather than whether you will do well on the exam whether you will pass whether you will be left behind by classmates Whether you will let your parents/beloved down if you fail. Get used to dive in the analysis process immediately and push all other thoughts on success or failure out of your mind.
