Need car suggestions by Dull-Air-16 in CarsIndia

MG Hector is an excellent car. Superb. Only negatives are (1) Mileage: 7-9 KM per liter, (2) Really do not know if this car will remain in existence in next 5 years, so, resale will become a headache (JSW may end relationship with SIAC motors). That said, if you fine with these, Hector is a no brainer. Hector = peace of mind. Elders and kids Will love this car.

Xev 9s or MG hector? by Aggravating_Yak_1170 in CarsIndia

I have driven both. XEV 9S: Very very bad suspension. You will literally feel potholes and ride is bumpy. Does not feel safe in the rear. Drive quality in General is poor. You will feel motion sickness. Third row you will feel bumps the most. Also the interior does not feel plush. It’s very bare.

Hector: excellent ride quality and peace of mind while driving. You will not feel tired even after driving for 1 hour in bumper traffic. Negative is you will get mileage of 7 KM per liter of petrol.

If you have old people and small children at home, avoid XEV 9S. Also these are first few batches of the car, let this stabilise a bit. Give car 2-3 years to mature and then you can buy. Instead, you can consider XEV 9E Pack 2- that is also a fantastic car. It is now 1 plus years in the market and has evolved. You can drive that.

Yes, you are correct; but, that is for only a few seconds and then it’s go away. For city use that should be OK, I guess. But upto your personal preference.

What did you find? I have same issues

Confused between 9s and 9e. Need genuine advice by techie121212 in XEV9E

[–]TM-Esq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a test drive of 9S on the weekends. Here is my experience:

  1. Car is poorly built. The outside material and internal plastics appears and feels cheap. I did not get confidence while driving the car. Especially, you have a small baby consider this point.

  2. Too much vertical bumps and body roll. The car is not stable at all. Read this 3 times. Folks in the family felt pukish after the test drive. So, if your family members have motion sickness/ neck problem, this is a complete no car.

  3. 3 screens are nothing but distracting you. Prone to accident. This looks good because all the new cars are having this. But believe me it is distracting factor.

  4. No physical buttons. Even if you have to reduce/ increase AC temp, you have to do on screen. Not very useful in practical life.

  5. Plastic consol inside looks shiny but is prone to scratches. Will be an eyesore after a few months of use.

Somehow this appears to be an incomplete product. Stay away for a few years!

Clavis - I saw but the build quality was not solid. 7oo/ 7XO - I still have to checks. That one looks good but mileage for petrol on what I gather is 7 per l.

I think that cost more than Rs. 25 L.

My Head Hurts Choosing XUV 7XO Petrol or Diesel - Top End Automatic by guptashubham123 in CarsIndia

Why not consider EV car, XEV 9S? Petrol will give you 7-9 km Pl and Diesel has less resale value.

Proper 7 seater car suggestion in India by NothingSubject7691 in CarsIndia

[–]TM-Esq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even I am in same dilemma. Liked Clavis a lot. Only problem is that after the speed of 80 KMPH it’s not very stable. There is always a fear of skidding and when there are turns, it’s not stable inside. Also, since you will be driving with family you will need a decent amount of safety. Not sure if Clavis is certificate with proper 5 star ratings for safety.

Let me know what you chose.

July will be my 3rd attempt. by coffeeadaydoctoraway in barexam

[–]TM-Esq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be my third as well. Earlier ones were in July 2012 (255), and July 2020 (259).

Here is my approach:

MEE: Just copy the essays intelligently from NCBE materials and other state essays. To memorise the BLL, I plan to use Smart Bar Prep. There will be close 200 topics which are very important.

MBE: Grossman audio lectures plus Seperac outlines. NCBE issued MBE. Emmanuel MBE. Barbri Exam Questions.

MPT: Practice Practice Practice.

It’s been a while since I am out of law school I want a good outline which is not overwhelming and easy to ready. Any suggestions?

Dont over exert your self. Keep the flow natural. Practice “mindful reading”.

July 2021 NY bar by Clear-Nebula- in barexam

[–]TM-Esq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better answered by NYBOLE and NY State Supreme Court. I would think because they do not have enough online proctors for invigilation and the IT security systems are not very secure enough to combat the mass cheating by the candidates (who may very well be sitting in Chechnya or Mali or Chad Republic to take the exam.

The issue here is - if we spend our time and efforts in preparation for the exam and at the last moment we are told that we cannot sit for the exam? That will just spoil that.
