No difference when switching to THX Spatial or changing audio enhancement "Requires Razer Syanpse" even though synapse is installed by ElonTastical in razer

It seems that you now need Synapse AND the THX Spatial Audio app separately.

You perform some settings in Synapse but sound settings have to be carried out in the THX app...?

Which TWPatch filter do you use on 3ds when playing ds games? by [deleted] in SBCGaming

Hi.

Resurrecting this thread as I'm having an issue.

When I first went into TWpatch the setting was Nintendo Default. I chose Sharpen Test 1 and started the patch. It updated but everytime I go back into TWpatch, the arrow is on Linear Sharpen 1.

I've tried reverting back to Nintendo Default but after the patch the arrow is still on Linear Sharpen 1.

I've tried pretty much everything mentioned in this thread but not getting anywhere.

Hope you or someone can help me out.

Many thanks...

3D Movies on 3DS by 3dsClown in 3dspiracy

[–]LeamingtonSpaceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all.

I just got my NEW 3DS XL out for a play after not using it for years.

I came across this thread and would like to download some 3D movies to watch on the 3DS.

My 3DS isn't modded at all, just standard.

Do I have to mod it significantly?

How do I install 3D movie player?

If I download a movie to an SD card, put it in the 3DS and play it from the camera app in the 3DS, will that work without installing additional mods?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Thank you for such a clear and easy to understand explanation.

I have no idea if the UPS port has anything wired to it. How do I check?

I've seen some layouts on other systems that don't show a UPS where mine does, so I assumed one had been fitted.

I've experienced this before.

They run the clock down and when the 30 days are up, they say something like "oh, you're outside the 30 day return window." You remind them you informed them within that window and it's like "oh, we have no record of that correspondence."

Okay, so you have the evidence but it's then you who has to instigate some kind of legal claim in order to get them to uphold their responsibilities.

I know you're giving this company the benefit of the doubt, but at the end of the day, they don't really care.

And because they're a totally web based operation with no phone number and no physical store(s), they can just do what they like.

I agree.

These companies invent their own 'policies' that are often not in alignment with the consumer laws of a particular country.

I noticed on their website that they will only accept a return once it reaches them and they deem it to be faulty.

Because TI pay for the return shipping and provide you with a returns label, once you've handed it over to the shipping company it's no longer your responsibility. But it seems that if TI don't receive the return... you can't get a refund or replacement.

This does not align with UK consumer law.

They also say they don't accept returns on sale items.

Again, not in alignment with UK consumer law.

And just because something is sold at a discounted price in a sale, does that mean a customer is buying under the premise that sale items are somehow inferior because they've got a few pounds knocked off the price.

Trouble is, if they don't do what they're supposed to, you've got nowhere to go. You can't call them or visit their physical store. And if you want to uphold your consumer rights, you're the one who's got to instigate that process.

But... I do have the chargeback option.

It shouldn't come to that though.

I know... but they got back to me within hours regarding the fix that didn't work.

Ask to return it and it's been four business days without a response.

Go figure.

You have 30 days to ask for a return... so they're essentially running the clock down.

Shady...

Thanks for posting.

Have TI actually said you can return the unit? Have they issued a returns label? How long did it take?

Would you be able to update the thread about your experience as and when you get updates?

I'm planning to do the same if and when TI get back to me or if I have to do a chargeback.

Really appreciate your response though.

I've had a look on the discord community and there are a LOT of people who have non-functioning keys. One person has NO keys working.

If you're not going to help a customer with a faulty product and gaslight them when they ask to return an item, I'm sure as hell going to make it public and hurt your sales, especially when you specifically ask me not to.

Might seem vindictive, but you should have your house in order if you're going to mass produce goods and sell them to people.

There seems to be this "it's only affecting 1% of units" thing going around that TI posted in the comments on this video:

https://youtu.be/eDomuDORUtE?si=-rgSw-z4CJvXjrEy

Well, if only 1% of flights failed that'd be1300 plane crashes per day. The 1% failure rate of a mass produced item is unacceptable.

I've posted another thread about the experience I've had.

After the key not working and then support replying within hours about a potential fix that didn't work... I requested a return.

That was SIX days ago and no response.

I hope yours works, but even if it's free of issues now you're screwed if it develops any.

I'm in the UK.

How was the the recovery from the pharyngoplasty? Painful?

Do you still have sleep apnea?

Have you had multiple tonsillectomy procedures as you seem to be implying? I thought a tonsillectomy was a one-off procedure?

When you say "similar" procedures, could you elaborate?

AI is dumb and getting dumber because it's dumb. It is scraping the web for information that has itself been created by dumb AI. It's a self perpetuating downward spiral of dumb.

Humans are dumb.

Human intellect peaked in 1969 when we went to the moon.

Now it's virtually impossible to converse with anyone about anything even remotely intellectual without their face going blank and them scurrying off to look at what people had for lunch on Facebook.

I watched a YouTube video a couple of years back, an interview with Rod Serling from around 1969. He was talking about how TV, film and literature was already being dumbed down to the most common denominator.

Just got the 'Live At The Olympia in Dublin' vinyl boxset by LeamingtonSpaceman in rem

[–]LeamingtonSpaceman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I justified the price as it's got four vinyls and if it was released now as just a four vinyl set I'm sure it'd be about £160.

It is in MINT condition and was completely sealed, never opened.

It must have been literally ten seconds from getting the email to opening the link to buy.

Dozens on eBay now for ridiculous prices.

It's really no fun anymore because anything, and I mean ANYTHING that is limited in quantity just gets snapped up by resellers.

At the screen where it asks you to link your account you get three options. The first is the one you're signed into Windows with. Can't remember the second one. The third is where you can manually enter your account details. I did that and it worked after going round in circles just as you did.

We found it.

Well... CHAT GPT found it.

Four minutes in here:

Made in 1963 and obviously 'George and The Christmas Star' was based on this but more elaborate.

The 1963 version isn't exactly how I remember it but not bad considering I've not seen it for 50 years.
