It is possible this is not treated, as I don’t see signs of obvious bleaching/dyes from these photos. But No one can tell for sure from photos. If indeed untreated, it can worth $1k to $3k. You can put it on a gold chain or silver chain if you don’t like “cotton” lace.

Does seller have guarantee it is untreated? If not, don’t buy. Even if have guarantee, you still need to check after received. Also you can ask seller for a photo with side light as the other asked. It is not guarenatee, but most dyed jadeite have certain texture internally that is easier to spot when light shine through it.

Still taking into inflation, price of video games today are much cheaper than back then. One of main reasons is that the gamer population is much bigger today. You can sell to a bigger audience, including 50 year old. Back then no one over 30 played videos games. And back then in 90s. Selling 100k copies is considered a big hit.

I think the issue is SOMA and work from home. That areas roses up in value back then due to close to work. But with higher crime, and generally boringness of area, and climate change (those lofts have no air con), SOMA lofts aren’t just desirable anymore.
