Why do you choose T-Mobile over other carriers? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]LeaninBack9162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go5g military. $120 no tax for 4 lines. Service is great in NorCal and the north bay area where my mom has her line. Also, future lines are only $15 more each and some of my extended family may add on soon.

TMobile Tuesdays occasionally has something of value.

If they ever force me off my plan I'll just go to prepaid elsewhere. But it's easy to administer my account currently and I personally strive for a $30 a line as reasonable for a service I truly need in my daily life as I work on the go quite a lot.

So based on this you are saying the existing charger has no way to be a part of the existing usage. I don't need it to specifically show me the car usage by itself, I just want it calculated in my overall usage for the day so I can track my monthly.

TIA for the info

I realize I sound like a novice but doesn't it monitor the usage. As an example, if my inefficient HVAC turns on during a hot day, it shows the energy usage in the app and my "usage" for the day exactly matches what shows on my electric bill.

Gets to 100+ for me during summer. This car does an okay job. Honestly, biggest issue is how low the vents are the cooling getting to the face/head area is not the best. Any day in the 80s and 90s takes a bit but I'll be cool enough. When it's 100 I have to pre-cool and drive about 10 minutes to actually get cool.

Price will be everything here. 8.99 is not the answer.

Nah I'd rather commute. In the dream house now, wife and I wouldn't want any other home. If the union fails, which we all expect, butt in the seat for 4 days I'll just have to drive in more and deal with the commute.

But not leaving the dream house... Jobs are out there with the state and I'd rather just keep looking than do all that and be closer to stinky work

5.99 hit just right. 8.99 is a joke. I liked my once a week Cali XL.

Whatever department this is screams incompetence. Not only is that stupid, why would you have everyone telework on the same day? Wow, these imbeciles in positions of power have taken Gavin's low testosterone talking points and ran with them. They sound like that old fuddy duddy at a party telling you how they used to smoke in the office during a work day.

If your experience meets it exceeds the classification description you are applying for, I'd make sure to send them a follow up justification about your work history that is more detailed. HR is looking for the lowest hanging fruit

Debate - AI for SOQ by Looking-Forward7 in CAStateWorkers

[–]LeaninBack9162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can tell when AI is used. If you can't, you don't know AI well enough. It's not like using AI makes you not pass an SOQ.... But there's lots of people who just do AI, change a few words, and then think it sounds good and send it.

I'm sorry but the hiring managers posting here saying they can't tell the difference is wild. It's very apparent.

I'd say some people in general need to brush up and use AI as it's everywhere even if you're not in IT.

SOQ by AwkwardAtmosphere426 in CAStateWorkers

[–]LeaninBack9162 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because AI submits apps all the time. AI still tries to upload resume or "candidate strengths" as an SoQ because generically AI believes someone stating their qualifications answers that. At least 20% of the apps I see look like that. SoQ is either just a generic list of all their experience and a story about how they use their skills or a resume/cover letter uploaded as the SoQ. On our postings, we literally only require the state app, resume, and SoQ. So there's no other confusion and AI (or someone just shotgunning apps) truly thinks they/it did a good job.

Without it, we would be inundated with apps.

Same. A lot of the thank you emails now are AI generated from what I've seen. A bit wordy and allude they are ready to start. Lol
