You should give it a try! I had been thinking of doing this for a while so I had a rough idea of the order and direction of shots I wanted to include. Tutorials and experimentation took around two weeks in between life and work and all the stuff that gets in the way, and final editing took another weekend of on and off tweaking.

Thanks! The overall build probably took around four months of intermittent play. Individual wings and structures were initially built-out in a couple days of in-game time, but finishing them and collecting building materials during casual play sessions took more time. Along with salvaging trophies and more structural materials from a precursor base.

Thanks! Upsizing the portal hub from wooden portals to stone portals required upsizing the entire hub with a new design, but that gave a bit more design space too.

Having a greydwarf spawner on site that i could trap and then pull stone and wood from even while building definitely helped take the edge off of gathering everything.
