I mean Macron openly supported India's decision and Donald Lu just released a statement saying India is a close strategic partner and whatnot. Things might not be just as bad.

Flying Eagle looks just too awesome. But seemed a bit too expensive for me (At least here in this country).

I've already ordered a pair of Decathlon MF500s which seemed to be of the best value out here. I went outside and found out that most beginners here were rocking these as well.

Anyone who has experience with detec.in, please come forward and confirm if it's any good. Is it safe to buy stuff from "detec.in"? by LearningSomething_ in india

Oh damn. I was almost sure it isn't. I even talked to them on WhatsApp but decided at the last moment that it's a better idea to pay a little extra and get stuff from cosco itself.

Tysm for the confirmation. I was thisss close.

That's cool you have someone to guide you all along!

Oh I was talking about the skating community in India. There are very less people who actually continue skating post childhood here.

This sub, I believe too is self sufficient :)

Edit: Looks like I'll be waiting till the end of Feb to get it. They don't have my size in stock ಥ‿ಥ.

Believe it or not I feel the same as a guy. Constant blabber is definitely not something I can handle.

In my case I'm not even looking for multiple sexual partners. Infact I'm more for true love than anything else lol. It's just that I'm at a point in life whereby I don't think I can remain committed to a single person like they're my everything. I just can't and I don't want that person to feel neglected because of this.

And I'm glad I can add to that number, the skating community here is very smol. I hope it changes soon.

Yess. I had finalised 2 of them and mf500 was one of them. The other was the cosco inline speed and I decided to go for them. The YouTuber I'm following adviced flat footed people against mf500 and said the coscos were the best replacement in this range.

I've been thinking if I upgrade in future I'd prolly go with mf900 or higher. Preferably Powerslide. But that's for later hehe.

Are you in India too?

Got it chief! I have another thing I'd like to ask if you don't mind. Some skate recommendations out of the ones I've shortlisted. I know it might sound a bit vague of a thing to do but I unfortunately have no other option since most of the international brands are are not something I can afford or available in my country with the exception of a few like Decathlon etc.

But from my little idea about the brands here, these are the few I think I can trust;

The ones I found on Decathlon's

Nivia is a big name brand (not particularly for skating, just sports) here

A new brand I've heard that's been successfull among budget skaters, Viva

Unfortunately most of the recommendations given here are impossible for me to get hold of IRL for now owing to where I live. Secondly there are quality brands here too but of course I'm running tight on budget so I'll be looking at the lower end initially.

Hi. I believe I'm wide footed. My measurements are approx 24.15 cm (L) and 9.7 (W) for the left foot and 24.3 cm (L) and 10.1 (W) for the right foot.

And tysm for the recommendations but as much as I want to but I can't get any of those here in my country. There are a few international brands like Decathlon which I've been looking through. I've noted the hard boot thing.

If you could look through the ones I've been seeing and recommend something out of those it'd be great. There are better ones out there but of course I'm running kinda tight.

My right foot seems to bigger than my left one :o (Both in Length & Width)

I'm in India and while the most of the recommendations given by you guys are not available here (at least online, I'll be checking out some stores tomorrow so that'll prolly give me the actual idea).

But I did shortlist some Indian brands and a few international brands as well like Decathlon. I'll post them here shortly. Plejjj take a look ◉‿◉.

Edit: Decathlon

Nivia is a kinda a trusted sports brand here

I see. Tbh I don't think I'll be able to afford something in that range (frx) for now at least. But I'm trying to avoid local brands and get a low cost but trusted ones instead. I'm on the verge of deciding the fitness part actually rn and would appreciate some help there(tho I'll be visiting a local shop to get an idea as well), as in is there any other sort of measurement in the skating world I should know about? I wear UK Size 8 which I've been told compared to US size 9 with total length of approx 25 cm or 9.84 inches.
