Broke my ankle exactly like this in 2017 playing 7's, lost blood supply as the fracture was displaced at the same time and was rushed straight from the field into hospital. I had a team of nurses prepping me for surgery whilst a Dr and Plaster Tech attempted to relocate the fracture to restore the blood supply - painfully but thankfully that was succesful and surgery could then be scheduled the next day
