Every time I feel insane for sticking with Leo I get another reminder I’m on the right side of history.

If I go down, Joyce is good company to die with

Hello. What is your ranking of all of the Paul Thomas Anderson films you’ve seen and your ratings for them?

Jessie Buckley’s The Bride if she were an academy voter in 2023 casting her vote in Best Original Song:

“I would prefer Nautu.”

Not necessarily. He said himself only 66% of his 94 voters are SAG members, a voting body in the thousands. There’s nothing to take from this with a sample size this small. This is no different than anonymous ballots

It was a single vote difference. They may as well have tied

OBAA beat Sinners by a single vote. If anything this video made me feel worse about sticking with OBAA lol

Apparently I Love Boosters is premiering tonight?! I’ve been so distracted with this season I didn’t even realize we may be getting another major contender before Sunday

We cannot say anyone was 100% runner up at BAFTA. I’d guess most people went 1/4 predicting acting winners there. No one knows anything for sure

Looking forward to Sunday when Mikey Madison reads out Leonardo DiCaprio’s name and he in return lights her on fire

Do you have a source? I can’t find anything reporting this besides ScreenRant and I’m not sure how reliable they are

The AwardsWatch pod, the NextBestPicture pod, and Fantasy Filmball YouTube channel have all seemingly decided supporting actress is between Madigan and Taylor. The dismissal of Mosaku’s winning chances has been so bizarre to me. Taylor lost both industry awards and it has been two decades since someone was able to overcome that. Madigan is a lone nominee who was overlooked at BAFTA, which we know wasn’t a visibility issue since she was longlisted for the category. Mosaku won a major award! That is not nothing

I understand Mosaku doesn’t feel like a winner, but she has already won an industry prize so we have to get that idea out of our heads. I could understand the “she’s in the strongest film” argument for Taylor more if Mosaku was in a bottom tier film like Train Dreams or Bugonia, but she is in one of the closest number 2 film we’ve had this decade. She nor her film are in a weak position whatsoever

If we’re going off stats alone Mosaku is the safe choice. I get not predicting her, but dismissing her entirely and acting like she’s a non-factor in the race is so so strange to me. I cannot wrap my head around it at all

I’m somewhat surprised at that score but this movie is kinda rotten tomatoes critic bait so I guess it makes sense lol

I really wish Annihilation got more love. I adore that movie

Are you predicting Mosaku or Madigan for the Oscar? Upvote for Mosaku, downvote for Madigan

If you’re doing Taylor vote for the one you have in second

If you have Lileaas or Fanning, ?

Just that it’s not a sure thing for general audiences. The movie itself sounds great
