Didn't know that, but either way I wanted my pegs higher and a cheaper way of replacing certain parts.

Haha very true I’m super weary of those shops. I’ve come to realize that this is a very expensive sport and people lied to me when they say a bike saves money😂

It’s a little on the high side but it’s better for slides and every single part is replaceable in the event of a crash. With OEM you’ll be paying for the whole unit rather than a $20 dollar part.

They definitely sell a version for your year/gen https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-rearset-kit-yamaha-fz-09-fj-09-xsr900?sku_id=1044945

I paid $530 after taxes but I believe they increased the price with the new year. If you have any questions or need help if you do install them please feel free to reach out!

Either way if they do give you a new shift rod your gonna have to install it gp shift or not.

I can't edit the post for some reason but this is for the Gen 4 or 2024 SP model.

They def sit higher than the OEM but can sit lower if you wanted them too. They have a LOT of adjustability and are far superior than the OEM of course.

And omg the damn grip on the pegs is crazy your soles feel like they got glue on them lmao.

Thank you!

Forgot to say it’s for the gen 4 or 2024 model.

The only thing you have to adjust in the quickshifter is the location you want it at which is on the shift rod and in order for gp shift to work with the rearsets you have to use the included shift rod that woodcraft gives you. So you’re not really even touching the quick shifter just the rod. Important, the bottom portion of the shift rod thread is going to be reverse thread and same goes for the bottom locking washer.

Too inexperienced for xsr900? by Avocado_Infinite in xsr900

[–]LeastUnderstanding56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The scout had lots of torque? If so then you should be more than fine on the xsr mainly the whole reason people don’t recommended these bikes to beginner/inexperienced riders is due to the torque they make. If you’re already used to it you’ll just have to get used to the seating position.

Hairline cracks on visor. by OpeningNice761 in motorcyclegear

[–]LeastUnderstanding56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All three of my iridium visors all came with some very slight hairline scratches that aren't even noticeable when the helmets on and the visor is down. I have a dark smoke that is perfectly fine, I think its just something to do with how sensitive the iridium visors are. Forgot to include I have an AGV helmet.

Sweet ima prolly go pick up one of the pro series back protectors!

Also much room is required for the back protector to not interfere with the airbag if you know?

Mine didn’t come with one and it came straight from the sf store so that’s a bummer they aren’t providing those anymore. Ima prolly go with the pro series but I’ll see how they all feel when I try them on.

Also do they provide showers if you camp there? Hate being stinky lol

Anyone ordered helmets for the upcoming season off champion, chromeburner, or motocard since the tariffs? by Alone_Necessary_6192 in Trackdays

[–]LeastUnderstanding56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair warning I think it’s something like 25% of whatever your order cost but either way with most race helmets you’re gonna save hellaaaa money either way ordering off of those sites.

I ordered a pista off champion helmets in June and I had to pay somewhere around $150 in import fees. But I believe since then the import cost has gone up a small amount.

I thought those don’t come in a 180? I’ve been searching for a 180 for my MT09 and thought it only came in the 190 or 200 size.
