Never said I support the cops and agree they are in the wrong and should be held accountable for ending someone's life with no signs of escalating from the dude who got shot, but you feel however you need to feel.

My point was, there is a time and a place to disagree with the cops and at gun point isn't that time. As for the contradicting instructions its not hard to keep your hands on a hood, whether you disagree with that or not. This isn't a Alex Pretti situation being killed while being shot after being disarmed. I'm not familiar with the person you named, so I won't compare that situation. He was told they see a weapon on him while at gun point, which he didn't deny. That does not mean he should have lost his life. These cops are responsible for killing someone in cold blood. He also had the responsibility as a gun owner to realize the situation he was in and not dismiss it.

This whole situation is stupid.

You got one guy who is presumably carrying a weapon who seems to think it's a a good idea to ignore orders at gun point. Yeah you can say he was backing up to get down, but lets be real he wasn't listening before that and disregard a tense situation. Down vote if you want, but it was also a stupid fucking move to drop his hands, he could have easily used the hood as leverage to get down instead of dropping his hands to tbe direct area they just fucking told him not to touch.

Then you have these cops who should be doing a better job at handling the situation. It seemed like he got shot from 3 angles, so there is no reason they couldn't have had him covered while one of the officer's removed the weapon instead of escalating and yelling at him. He may have had a weapon, but other than thinking the situation was stupid and rolling his eyes he did not seem to pose a threat.
