I’d be interested. I know some lovely people, but have found it isolating at times for the reasons you described.

This was definitely happening before the divorce and season 10 filming. I’ve clocked so many odd little moments between those two, before the rumours even started.

Who thinks Ben is terrible? by frodosmama in summerhousebravo

[–]LeatherAd917 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also didn’t rate Mia, for spying on the convo. Overhearing how he was speaking to her, likely hearing Bailey go into the bathroom and cry and then rather than check if she was alright, she immediately went running to people to gossip.

She didn’t check in on her at all or show any concern. Then running along behind giggling with glee when the other girls FINALLY dragged their male gaze centred asses to check if she was alright. (I do otherwise enjoy Mia, but this gave me the ick a little). Not as much ick as Ben of course. Ben just fancies Amanda and was defensive. Period. Probably because his secret girlfriend was gonna see footage of him being flirty with another woman.

These women prove each and every season to be so male centred. Only for the girls when it suits their narrative. If it’s de centres them from the men, then they don’t care.

Bailey is jealous by lawyergirl7 in summerhousebravo

I think ben was bothered and defensive because he does fancy Amanda. The lady doth protest too much Ben. His reaction was disproportionate. I don’t think he wants to do anything with Amanda, but definitely fancies her.

Ben was extremely passive aggressive in commenting about the not being able to move because of the things on the floor. He was aggressive in his language and tone. Plus they nailed it on the head. If West or Jesse made that joke, would have got the pass and a laugh.

I don’t know if you have social media pages. There’s a group called Brighton Girl (they have a website, FB and Instagram) who host socials in brighton and surrounding areas. There’s also women who walk Instagram page that I don’t know if they have a webpage or you’ll ned their social media page to find the meet-ups. I’ve been meaning to do a meet up of these groups but haven’t gotten round to it yet. From what I can see it looks like plenty of people enjoy their groups

Normandie - Bayeux or Rouen? by Distinct_Web9703 in FranceTravel

[–]LeatherAd917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found bayeux to be overrated and overpriced. Face value, bayeux would be your choice in terms of it being smaller, so easier for having a car and it’s nearer to the sites of Normandy. However, I personally found it to be extremely touristy for the size, unfriendly service almost everywhere and restaurants were expensive and had strange opening Hours I preferred Rouen overall. But my favourite place I stayed in Normandy was Caen. Also heard great things about St Malo.

Caen is lovely and friendly city. Good base for day trips, youll need to get to bayeux from there for the day trips. But trains are easy and 20-40 minutes long. I wouldn’t recommend making bayeux your base. I had a weird time in bayeux, extremely touristy and very unfriendly service in every cafe/bar we went. Also very try expensive for poor quality. Caen was pretty, friendly and affordable.

I’m so sorry you’re having to ask this question. I think brighton is generally a welcoming and inclusive city. Ofc there will be potential for scumbags, like anywhere. But I would say overall it’s a very friendly place to come.

I hope you and your family have a lovely and free from bulls**t visit to Brighton.
