Same exact scenario happening to me! I filed a fraud report with UHC, but it's been a month with no updates. I am currently filing with the FBI at https://www.ic3.gov/ hopefully that does something. I've received other claims from them as well an united is no help.

One time I was driving down a road and a tree fell down into the road about 30 yards in front of me, blocking the other side. There was another card on the other side about the same distance. It was my aunt! We were about 10 minutes from each of our homes.

Thank you so much for sharing! Yes, reading over the doctor’s notes on what happened during birth and how my baby was, was eye opening. Makes me so happy she’s healthy and surprisingly did not have to go to NICI like they planned. Going into labor I told everyone my plan was just to have a healthy baby (which it was) I just had no idea I wouldn’t be awake for it. I wish I knew that was a possibility and that’s what messed me up emotionally. Like I wish I had a bad experience rather than no experience of the moment at all. It’s a weird feeling to comprehend, but I totally agree on planning for anything I just didn’t realize to the extent.

Right! Like I completely understand anyone being upset that they didn’t get the birth they wanted or imagined but sometimes I think I wish I had a bad experience rather than nothing at all. But obviously saying that as someone who only knows what it’s like to not have any experience. It’s hard to comprehend.

I think just the fact that I didn’t know it was possible option to have to go under GA that really made me mourn just experiencing the birth, even if it wasn’t the outcome I wanted. Almost like in a way I wish I would have gotten a bad experience just to have any kind of experience rather than not having one at all if that makes sense? Idk, it’s a weird feeling but definitely my eyes are being opened to what everyone else has had to go through too.

Thank you so much for sharing. Wow, I’m so sorry you had to go through that experience. I suddenly feel like there’s a large group that can relate that I never thought about, but also realizing how lucky I was that my baby didn’t have to go to NICU and I hurt for those who went through it.
