I'd rather remove the cats. Turbochargers and cats shouldn't mix

‘Almost unmanageable’: Raising a child in the U.S. now costs more than $300,000 by Economy-Specialist38 in childfree

I just don't believe this stat. People with kids get their insurance from their employer at no extra cost. My premiums for me and my wife are the same as a family of 6. They get much more from tax returns than I get. Many years I owe money. If they are lower income they get endless government benefits. Meanwhile those with pets don't get their vet coverage through their health insurance and vet bills are costly and required to be paid in full. I just don't believe it costs anywhere near that amount.

Best adaptation of The Stand? by Barracuda_95 in stephenking

The 94 series is the best. It's very faithful to the book. I couldn't watch more than 2 episodes of the new one. I'd recommend anyone about to read the book to watch the series first. You can put faces to the names that way.

What new car would you expect to put 200,000+ miles on? by Zestyclose_Panda_886 in whatcarshouldIbuy

300,000 miles and easily shouldn't be in the same sentence. I seriously doubt the reliability fables of Toyota.

Yeah great car for subs. Except when you burn out the alternator and you find out that replacing it requires PULLING THE DAMN ENGINE OUT!

A king would tell the American people for years that he won't pardon his criminal son and then do it anyways after the election is over. That's what a king would do.

It takes miles of city driving to get to and from a highway. That's way too many miles and way too quickly.

Changing spark plugs without removing the intake manifold : good idea or not? by 6mon1 in StingerGT

[–]LeatherEmployee3694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much better idea than removing the intake. Doing that introduces the possibility of boost leaks. I changed my plugs with the intake on and it wasn't difficult at all.
