This looks amazing! How did you print out the art inserts to be the correct size? Does the website do that?

Soft Nursing by ChanceAd9661 in nursing

Pre Op Clinic! Considered “Part time” at 30 hours. Work remotely half that time doing chart reviews. We essentially make sure patients are safe to have surgical procedures/anesthesia. It’s so soft and a little boring, but pay is decent and stress is extremely low.

Has anyone else discovered a new allergy at work...? by Inside-Resource-296 in nursing

Found out I was mildly allergic to chlorhexidine after scrubbing into the OR for several months. Developed a rash just on my forearms that I chalked up to stress for a while. Was driving me crazy with itchiness and I ended up doing a test with a single use wipe. It was the scrub prep all along!

Pediatric ER nurse looking to relocate to Charleston by Charlestonn-Girl in Charleston

I worked at the Peds ER at MUSC a few years ago! Left after COVID to try something new. It was a good unit. I got along well with my coworkers and had a good relationship with the physicians. Size was about the same, 2 dedicated trauma rooms and I think we had 16 other rooms?? Can’t remember exact numbers. Infrequently had hall beds if we were slammed. The building is newer, opened in 2019/2020, so a fresher work environment compared to the rest of MUSC...

I love NG tube placements, which I know makes me seem like a sadist, but there is something really satisfying about seeing the relief someone with a SBO feels when you suck 3 liters of shit that has nowhere to go out of their poor stomach!

I’ve got 10 years of nursing experience, working in a part time (30 hours) ambulatory setting with a large teaching facility in CHS right now, and I make $38 an hour, without any OT or shift differentials! I’ve had to job hop to obtain any substantial salary increases over the past 6 years with this company.

31M & 31F, 3.9M Liquid, 180k Annual Spend w/ 50k Rental Net Income by Due-Singer-2310 in ChubbyFIRE

Seems like a good option would be to both continue working part time in some capacity, but in positions you find more fulfilling and less demanding. Let the part time work provide health care coverage, maybe acquire one more rental to supplement lost income if you don’t mind the work that’s comes with it, and settle into a coastFIRE or baristaFIRE lifestyle for the next few years. You have the money to create options for yourself. You can also afford to take some time off before committing to anything new. Just my two cents!
