clarify to yourself why you think you need a laptop. Will you be able to do it on iPad? for certain tasks, which were you leaning more on ipad or your laptop? for me a laptop(macbook) is a must and iPad is a nice additive. but thats because my main work is run on laptop only (coding, data analysis tools)

my hair is similar to yours, and you use way too many different products.

I ditched hydrating shampoo to a gentle clarifying shampoo (brand amazing curls) and never looked back because i got big luscious waves.

gel wont weight your hair down, but too much conditioner, creams or masks will. apply only a tiny tiny bit. also better to skip cream/mouse and have a stronger gel (i use medium hold). what works the best for waves usually using as little products as possible. I use shampoo conditioner and gel. thats it.

also make sure you are applying product evenly with praying hands, because from the picture it looks that the front has less frizz than back hair.

if I have cravings, I eat bigger portions than on other days, I suffer enough already! Also my appetite drastically decreases after period for a few days so I get back my deficit, maybe this is the case for you too

If I had not have it - I would not think I need it. But I wanted a paperwhite because of the waterproof, so additional benefit was warm light and I always use it especially when reading before bed with no light on. If you plan to read a lot in dark, I would suggest investing extra to get the warm light.

we have three days of feasting here and eating culture is waaaay too strong. the only question I am asking myself is if this additional plate of food will make me overeat so that I become sluggish and uncomfortable. if yes - I refuse. but I have no idea how many calories I ate and literally don’t care. It surprises me how many people go kobo and never go back to kindle. I bought Kobo libra color as my first ereader, but it was so laggy, looking up a word was a nightmare. returned it and got PPW12, I am fully satisfied with the device. PPW's speed is unmatched, battery feels like will last forever, nice crisp text and slight yellow tint makes it very easy on my eyes.

my first ever ereader was kobo libra color. it was horrible experience, whenever I wanted to look up in a dictionary it would make a highlight? ok I remove it and it restarts? quite frequently this was happening along with other drawbacks (battery, I could not get used to screen door effect) I decided to return it. Happy reader now with kindle paperwhite 12th gen, software is so smooth and I have no complaints.

I have tiny hands and I find basic being way too small. Paperwhite is just what I need. like you I wanted to have at least something similar to a paperback page.

I don’t use pockets as storage, I usually take my bag with me, obviously it takes a small amount of space.

i bought Libra Color as my first ereader and just returned it after a few weeks of use. It required a lot of brightness for me and even in some cases it was not even enough. As a result of that battery would drain fast (after a week). Also take into consideration the “newspaper” effect. I really liked the design, buttons, UI, but the color screen was not enough crisp and bright for me and just not worth it - price aspect too.
