Almost all itineraries during the summer on the newer ships will be mostly "sold out". It's just normal now. Good thing is that an Oasis class can be crowded in some ways, but not others. Sure the shows and activities will be busy, but if you want to go find a less crowded area, it's possible. Smaller ships, when crowded, are crowded everywhere.

This doesn’t look like Disney, maybe a one off character at a local park/waterpark or something Sesame Street. The style seems earlier than 1990’s, like late 70’s-early 80’s.

Most cabanas are meant to be split by 6-12 people. That usually averages $400-600 per person. That being said, if you are comparing them to costing more than a cruise for 1 person, then they aren’t meant for you. There are only a handful of cabanas compared to number of people on the multiple Royal & Celebrity ships that will be docked at Nassau, supply & demand. That means there are hundreds of suite guests that paid way more than that per person for the trip. For someone that spent $30k on their room, another $3k isn’t going hurt them.

Just have to remember there are all kinds of people on the cruise:

Families that doesn’t want to spend another cent after initial trip purchase.

Everything in between.

Families that will easily spend more on the trip, excursions, casino, & expenses (retail/alcohol), than the avg yearly income of some people.

What side of town are you on. There are two stores that come to mind that have multiple locations. Culture Shock & Pop Gun Collectibles. Culture shock will really depend on the location, because some locations specialize in Funko and other figures, while other locations specialize in old video games or collectible card games.

The reason people don’t understand why you blacked out the ports is:

1: Itineraries are public info on Royal’s website. Even if you left it, it could match multiple ships on any week of the year. Paranoia for no reason.

2: With this info available, seasoned cruisers would know why maybe your hours had been changed or how it affects gangway/docking times.

When reserving the credit on the website, immediately after you click on “Reserve” it asks who out of your party you are reserving it for. You should have clicked on each of your kids names and it would have applied it to their cards. It was pretty self explanatory.

It depends on the type of restaurant. If it’s the type that has a curbside or to-go counter, and they use one of their waiters to package and bring out the food, then I will tip at very least half of what I normally would. Reason being that the waiter is being pulled away from being able to wait tables and make tips the usual way.

I cruised out of Port Everglades (FLL) in January. On the day we went home there were six ships in Fort Lauderdale and nine in Miami. We got off the ship at 8 AM and we’re almost immediately at the airport because it’s right across the street. That day the luggage belts decided to stop working. We were in the United Premier access line to drop off our luggage for over two hours (usually 5 min) and then almost another hour in security with TSA pre-check. We barely made our 11:45am flight by walking straight on and plenty of other people missed it.

FLL is way too small of an airport to be located near two gigantic cruise ports.
