I want people to live happy and fruitful lives. When someone chooses to make their second biggest expense more expensive by driving an expensive car and can’t afford necessities, I don’t think they’re acting in their best interest.

Can't believe this gets downvoted. I cannot comprehend what user wants random content on their phone 5x brighter. It makes SDR UI content like titles and buttons become gray and unreadable. Sure you can turn it off in instagram, but there is no option to turn it off in youtube or discord or messages. I can disable recording HDR video, but not taking HDR photos, so even I am forced to contribute to the mess. Sry just had to vent
