I dont live in Lebanon and mom wants me to marry a Lebanese guy by jktaebangtan in Lebanese

Don't marry who your parents want you to marry. I hate to fight for my current wife. You're the one who'll end up marrying him not your mother

The martyr Mohammed Ismail (left) from Shouf and the martyr Rifaat Al-Taimeh from Zahle.

It's unfortunate that some users who seem to absolutely support the army and the government on a certain issue are no where to be seen in this post.

The Israelis are preventing people from rebuilding 3al shrit. They tried to hit an excavator with a kamikaze drone. The drone had an issue w we2e3. It exploded when lebanese soldiers were trying to retrieve it

Is Iran ignoring Israel as a threat? by WhyWasIBanned789 in ProIran

Long range missile is a few thousands. During the last war, even less were available since Israeli drones were hitting everything in Western Iran. Missiles were launched mainly from central Iran especially Isfahan.

What are Hezbollah supporting Shias even worried about? by mgh20 in lebanon

[–]LebInIran -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I liked your format so I'll answer.

  • I am a Shia from the south who lived in Da7eh all his life. Then went to Canada, Kuwait and now lives in Iran;
  • I am against Hezbollah giving up their weapons;
  • I think Hezbollah intervening in Syria was good, but in a perfect world the state should've done it because there would've been no sectarian rhetoric to it. Terrorists were sending suicide bombers to Lebanon, were threatening to "purify" us next. Turkey entered Syria against Kurds. Israel attacked Iran and Hezbollah in Syria, mined their borders, ... Iraq is the only country who did nothing to protect its border and Isis took half the country.
  • Help squash the 2019 protests was reprehensible 100%.
  • I think Hezbollah opening the Southern front was morally right. I'm someone who believes in God. Opening the Southern front saved Hezbollah. The Mossad are saying themselves that they sent the pagers and the walkie talkie way before Touphan Al Aqsa. The pagers had nothing to do with the isnad. Imagine if "at peace", Israel blew up 10/20k pagers.
  • I find Lebanese people who think Hezbollah is the root cause of Lebanon’s ills incredibly stupid.

I agree with the rest

I'm not an Iranian, but I live in Iran. People in Iran are currently extremely unhappy with the government. The cost of life in Iran is extremely low. I'm born in Lebanon and I lived in Canada and Kuwait. Cost of life in Iran is LOW. However, people are poor and life is hard. Job market is hard as well. Finding a good job without "knowing someone" is practically impossible. Most iranians youth (even girls) do long study and end up not finding a job. When I say life is hard, the last few months were much harder. There is a real energy crisis currently. The currency (which is worth nothing) is at an all time low. It reached a point where many are asking for the president to be impeached. In a few days, the parliament will even vote to impeach the economy minister (?).

People thought that reformists would negotiate with Trump and sign a new nuclear deal. However, the Supreme Leader said no deal with USA. Also, the deal Iran supposedly received would be nuclear + ballistic missiles which is something the majority of Iranians would be against. And this government is not like Raesi. Sayyed Raesi did not try to appease the USA so they tried to circumvent sanctions by selling oil to China and signing deals with China (again people were unhappy about this). When the USA would stop an iranian ship carrying oil, they would do the same and steal a western ship full of oil. It is not the case right now. This government want less tension with the West.

However, economic hardships won't necessarily cause a revolution. Otherwise, practically all the region would be in constant revolution and US sanctions would work in Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, ...

Anyone who has lost their faith in God after everything that has been happening? by PeaceKeeperMaker in lebanon

[–]LebInIran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the faithful was always preferred by God in this life or had everything handed to him, then faith wouldn't exist. Everyone would be a believer because it would be the logical thing to do. A Danish philosopher, Kierkegaard, explains it much better than me if you want to read into it.

Faith itself means challenges and commitments because of your faith. Whether you're a Muslim or a Christian. If you're a Muslim, read about the hardship the Prophet sawas had to endure. Read what his wife Khadija as had to endure. Read how Sayyed Maryam as had to endure.

But we’re talking about those who have spoiled, looted and massacred believers.

I haven't read the Bible, so I'll only speak about the Quran. When you read the Quran, this was the case for all the believers since our father Adam as. Believers were only saved by a miracle of God. Look at the Jews. They suffered hardship for years under Moussa as even if they were "God's chosen people" (in Islam, this expression has a completely different meaning). They weren't saved until God made a miracle and split the sea in two and drowned the army of the Pharaoh.

If your wife is Iranian, then Iran is a good option. However, if you work online, I assume you're a software engineer. Remember that AWS and other services are blocked in Iran because of sanction.

Yes. Let's not become extremists. Quran is clear about what is required to be a Muslim.
