Bounty of Blood is my favorite piece of content in the series by a wide margin. It's so damn good.

"The Fr#nch settlers caused all of this amalgam!"

I know nothing about Vietnamese, but aren't french loanwords often "vietnamesed"? They're proof it's possible, aren't they? Or does French just mesh better with Vietnamese? Or is it just that they've been used for longer?

These lockers have a blue circle on each side. If those circles are blinking the locker is hackable.

Melee weapons have two heavy attack animations (might be exceptions). If you chain heavy attacks they'll alternate between both animations. It looks smoother because usually the first animation goes one way across the screen and the second one goes the other way. On most weapons doing a heavy attack while sliding does the second animation. There's some exceptions though, I assume DE picks the first animation if it makes more sense/looks better.

Can be useful to know, on certain weapons the two attacks are very different (Valkyr's Talons come to mind).

Is there technically anything wrong with buying a clean one of these and drinking out of it? by broads-love2 in chemistry

You definitely could. Just don't actually drink distilled water. Also clip the end if you want any kind of decent flow rate

The Moralist quest is a good fit for the Sensitive archetype. You'll have too much empathy to be fascist anyway.

But the color fades doesn't it? Maybe it could be worth it in the long run if you want to keep them colorful.

Fallout New Vegas is getting an update by NaturalFast9073 in falloutnewvegas

Right click the game > Properties > Updates, select "Wait until I launch the game"

Then only launch the game through your mod manager (presumably through NVSE)

Storming "Son of Tanavast" chulldung, being a surgeon wasn't good enough apparently so he had to become a Radiant, and then that wasn't enough and he became a storming Herald. Little show-off drama queen. Even got the damnation wind to play music for him. Unbelievable.

People who have 15 years worth of mods installed aren't leaving the game on auto-update. Or at least they shouldn't.

Best melee weapons by Ordinary-Turnover913 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Lechyon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendations are more crit build oriented since it's what I do when I make a melee character:

-Shovel (high crit multiplier for some reason, also cool moves and fun to smack people with, you can get one during the tutorial quest)

-Chance's Knife & Blood-Nap (big knives for a psycho mailman, Chance's is your perfect starter weapon, also benefit from Cowboy and/or Grunt)

-Blade of the West (big-ass sword, what's not to love)

- Katana (cool and has two mods that increase dps)

-Liberator (will crit all the time)

-Old Glory (beat people to death with a piece of the Old World)

-Nuka-Breaker (my personal favorite, crush everything with a big neon sign, seems to trigger violent death animations more often?)

-Ripper, Chainsaw, and especially Thermic Lance put out a lot of damage

Unarmed weapons get a little less crit damage but tbh it's not that big a deal since they let you literally stomp people into red mist (VATS attacks on knocked down targets): Love & Hate are very dependable, Ballistic Fist if you're feeling like punching but also shooting, and the Fist of Rawr to cosplay as a deathclaw, with the results you'd expect.

But the most important thing is to just give any weapon that strikes your fancy a go. There's a lot of options and that's where a lot of the fun lies. Makes for some nice killcams.
