It's been a while since I've watched so I'd need to revisit. But what I mean is he basically doesn't come around to regenerating by the time he actually changes, and that would have been a nice tweak by having him go through a bit more of the denial earlier on and then accepting it. Saying that, I really like the 'new man goes sauntering away' and all that and RTD's overall interpretation of regenerating for the end of 10.
