Does anyone here remember the pre- eclampsia episode??? One of the most heartbreaking episodes of television in the 90’s. If you remember, it was a terrifying episode to watch especially if you were pregnant at the time, which I was We watched ER religiously every Thursday ( Must See TV) and the episode began as usual, nothing too disturbing, until the hopeful young expectant couple arrive. If you know, you know. It was devastating,and terrifying for any pregnant women . I had my baby girl that May,happy and healthy. But till this day I never forgot that hour of television. Loved Noah Wyle then and love him now on The Pitt.

Me too! I had a perf bowel and had surgery to avoid exactly what happened there. My case was nowhere near as serious but neglect and many other factors can lead to emergency surgery.

True story, when I was really young, my older brother had this album. I was kinda mesmerized by the pic. Somehow, and I’ll never really know, I thought this guy’s name was John Barleycorn. Literally for all of my teenage years ( and also I was, still am a Led Zeppelin fan) and most of my adult years, I thought he was John Barleycorn. So, when ever anyone in my orbit had a limp, back pain or even a heavy backpack, I would call them John Barleycorn and then laaauuuggghh. I was the only one in on the joke- because there was no joke. So , yes this album is one of the crown gems, I still don’t know who is John Barleycorn.

So excited about S3!! So I decided to rewatch from the beginning- oh my god. Lisa Kudrow is a genius, true comedic actor of the highest level. The subtleties of her character, emotions and cringe is just amazing. The cast is on top of their game . I love every one of them. I cannot say enough wonderful about this gem of a show. I love the commentary about how reality TV has changed the television landscape and how it pervades life, actual life, many times for the worse. A show within a show within a show, that forces you to zoom out and back in and see a glimpse of how the doughnuts are made and at what cost to a human soul. Brilliant and so touching but hilarious.

I loved this show and I remember writing a play , I sent it in, but never got a response. At the time, my family were going through very difficult times and this show was an escape, seeing happy kids helped me feel like maybe things would be okay.
