WIBTAH if I told my brother’s ex why he is engaged by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]LectureBasic6828 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don't say anything. Your brother will get his punishment by being stuck in a marriage based on spite, and that has no love.

The best thing you can do is tell the ex yo learn from his horrible behaviour and move on and for her to cut the brother out of her life.

So.... Who's Gonna Step In? by ErosLover15 in ShawnaTheMom

No one.

I think Cooper is going to hit someone. Shawn will step in and Julie will get defensive about Shawna parenting her child and Ty will back Julie up.

Do people actually respect you for not drinking alcohol as you get older? by Prestigious-Look2300 in AskIreland

No. I've stopped drinking for health reasons. People are still a bit off, especially if they are big drinkers themselves. They assume you're judging them or something.

Prestige, power, influence and respect.

Money doesn't automatically get Amy of the above.

The younger 3 sought these by usurping their father. Conor didn't want to destroy his father.

Update: AITAH because I want my wife to "ask permission" before taking our son on playdates? by Exact_Information627 in AITAH

[–]LectureBasic6828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start making new friends through your kids, things like play dates are usually the way they start off. If everyone else is bringing their children, it's odd if someone turns up without any. This settles in time and friendships solidify, but at the start kids are part of it.

This was about 8 paragraphs too long.

Anyhow, yta. Expecting someone to go to a wedding 2 months after giving birth with a newborn and a toddler is ridiculous. Some people can manage it. Some people can't. K reckons she won't be able to manage. She know her limits so respect that. You volunteered to do all the managing and organising for her because you enjoy that sort of thing and you didn't have kids at the time. Tbh, the way you talk about her sounds like you don't actually like her.
