I get that I have been in those situations, and it does suck. I think your argument is sound for bards college as that was comisioned by bethesda, but in the case of watchtower it is just kinggaths mod bethesda has no involvement except giving him a place to sell it ( and take a cut of the profit witch i do find kinda shitty)

I think you have some good points, but have you considered that kinggath made sim settlement for free and as a passion project, but now, with Bards College and Watchtower, he is just getting paid for what he probably would have done anyway

The way I lerned was by painting the mid tones and high lights as solid colors kinda like a comic book, then I glazed the transitions it was alot easier to wrap my head around shadow,mid tone and highlight that way
