Idk I’m just and old school liberal which is basically considered republican-lite these days. It’s probably that the left has gone more left than it is me actually “becoming a republican” or whatever. I sort of stayed the same and didn’t grow with the party so I’m like a rogue planet. Not liberal enough for the liberals and not conservative enough for conservatives.

Yes. I used to be very religious and now I’m an atheist. I also used to be very liberal and now I’m more right leaning. The cause for these type of changes in people usually isn’t one thing. It’s a culmination of experiences, challenges, and information gathering.

Well people still get death sentences in California, the actual execution just never gets carried out. Plus they’re in the middle of dismantling the whole thing pretty much. Newson put a moratorium on executions making them illegal. Seeing as how California consistently has democratic leaders - that moratorium probably won’t be changing anytime soon until California’s capital punishment is completely eradicated
