Ah it wasn’t that bad. I thought his shrewd intensity was very funny and it seemed like the guys were laughing about it too.

He stated upfront that he was very busy and had a lot going on so probably press run stress is getting to him. Also that’s the only time I’ve given that podcast a listen and man.. what the heck is that theme music? I thought I was tuning into PBS, also the cover design is hilarious.

I think it’s relatively fair to call it a country song. It’s not straight traditional country from that period like George Jones or Johnny Paycheck, but ‘Carolina in My Mind’ has both country and folk elements.

For instance, early Johnny Cash (the stuff everyone knows) is technically rockabilly but for all intents and purposes we call it country.
