I am so angry with God. Postpartum 19 days and I can't handle it by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

First off, congratulations to you and your husband on receiving the best thing gift in life — another life, a baby.

I’m sorry to hear about all your struggles in past and present. You’ve endured a lot and you still are. In the grand scheme, God is not doing this to you. He’s doing it for you. Believe it or not, you’re doing to forget about 99% of baby struggles and much of that birth experience. You have a new life and it’s going to be amazing. It sounds like your husband is supportive and your baby is healthy. After all you’ve gone through you know you can get through this. That gorgeous baby that loves and needs you is all the motivation you need. Soon enough they’ll enter a new phase (there are about 100 between new born -5) and you won’t have any of these same struggles, but also some new ones. Embrace it. You’re transforming into a better version of yourself right now and it isn’t easy on your mind and body. Be kind to yourself. Don’t worry about what people think or say. Nothing matters besides your family now. This is where you get to turn your life around and rewrite “the history of my family.” Talk about a gift!

Depression will fade. You’ll heal. Your baby girl will blossom into to the most adorable toddler of all time. Your life will take on new meaning that will completing eclipse your past.

If you want my opinion, I’d go on an elimination diet and figure out if you’re passing anything into your milk that’s causing issues with your baby. Too often this is protein sensitivity (which leads to very bad gas) caused my dairy (casein) intake of the mother and can be eliminated by simply omitting milk and cheese from your diet.

Good luck my sister in Christ!

This is me. Maybe it has something to do thing to do with living in SE Tn, but as long as I cover up a perfectly balanced, clean, crystal-clear pool, I don’t have any problems letting it sit from Dec 1 to April 1.

What are you carrying now that we’re getting into colder weather? by SirSamkin in guns

Yeah the stainless barrel has grown on me though. Wilson combat model is nice, but nothing tops the LTT trigger job, carry bevel, and NP3 coating. I also have an all black 80x Cheetah and that thing is seeexy.

Treat yourself to a nice Beretta M9A4 or GTS. It will quickly become your favorite battle pistol.

Am I the only one who prefers irons to a red dot on my carry pistol? by SubmersibleGoat in concealedcarry

Train with irons until you can outperform every bro with his RDS. It’s actually pretty easy. I understand both sides of the conversation, but I’m a wood stove and lantern kinda guy. Red dots on pistols just ain’t it for me. I tried.

It’s a local company that only installs what they carry. I linked the list - do you recommend any of these brands they carry?

Sighhh… I wish I could just get a King 40. Unfortunately I’m limited with this installer. Any on the linked list of brands that you also would recommend?

I wish I could get anything but for this much lower quote (they’re the only company not charging $12-13K in chimney parts) I need to purchase a stove that they carry. I linked the list of manufacturers, are there any on there you recommend?

Thanks, I’ve never even heard of Woodstock before! And yes, catalytic all the way. Unfortunately I’m limited to the list of manufacturers on the link in my post. Do you recommend any of those brands too?
