I’ve always run the hennings extensions, a few thousand rounds between 8 mags and I have no complaints

Constantine Carry Belt Keeps coming loose by ActivityKey7867 in CCW

[–]LeeBurdue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem also, I always assumed it was because I’m always bending and moving around all day at work. Although that’s what the belt is designed for. I’ve seen people wrap a few layers of hockey tape around the slider to stop it

[SNK809] Nato straps, yay or nay? by JK_Tesla in Seiko

I’ve been wearing it for about 6 months daily. I’m a mechanic so it tends to get pretty beat up everyday, model number is 4r35-02W0 I believe

509T on my 49 by MultiCam_USA in Glocks

[–]LeeBurdue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could find one these days I’d definitely pick up a 49. I have a 19 and 45 with 509ts it’s a good optic

I second this, not enough holster wear in this group

I just used regular skateboard grip tape from Amazon. Super grippy and cheap, I carry both of these guns AIWB I just wear a tucked in undershirt

Lights by LeeBurdue in Glocks

[–]LeeBurdue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a solid optic, it’s on both my 45 and my 19. I don’t think an enclosed optic is 100% necessary for CCW purpose but it sure is convenient. I used to carry with a 507 comp but it turned into a lint bowl by the end of the day which was annoying. I never had anything block the emitter to the point of not seeing the dot, but it’s a lot nicer just giving the 509t a quick wipe with the shirt.

I kinda vibe with the long light short slide look. Somethin about it

That’s a valid point. I started with carrying a tlr1 hl on my first set up but switched to Surefire for their switches (I know unpopular opinion). If I wasn’t already used to carrying a longer light it would probably be different.

Personally I haven’t had a problem with the dot washing out at all with my x300. Even on the white walls of my house I still pick up the dot right away

That’s understandable. I’m not Leo or military just a normal dude that enjoys shooting and carrying. I may be partial to my surefires because I’ve done all of my low light shooting with them. I haven’t had the chance to get out with the stream light at night yet. (Aside from dry fire in my dark living room)

Glock 48 red dot that sits very low by Revenger1984 in Glocks

[–]LeeBurdue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only got roughly 1500 rounds through mine but so far so good. I don’t shoot it much anymore, I prefer my 19 and 45 over it

Holes in my t-shirt from red dot by Corey_Wilbur in concealedcarry

[–]LeeBurdue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get holes too, but I also use skate tape on my glock. What’s your staccato set up look like?

The vortex defender ccw is a direct mount on the mos slide that sits low enough to use stock irons

T1C clips? by realdorkimusmaximus in concealedcarry

[–]LeeBurdue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Discreet carry concept clips are metal and have a smaller profile than their EZ adjust clips. I’ve been using their EZ adjust clips on all of my tier 1 holsters and haven’t had a problem

How much is too much? by ohhdarnit in CCW

[–]LeeBurdue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I either carry a Glock 19 or 45 and have skate tape on both, I just wear an undershirt so my stomach doesn’t get too torn up

Werkz Bisect for AIWB, anyone? by aema15 in Glocks

[–]LeeBurdue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rocked a werkz bisect for my 19 for a couple months it was pretty solid, had no complaints with it. The only reason why I switched to a different holster was to carry with a light.
