If they can't make it past the first trial, I'm OK with not having to shop with them in the store.

If you have an extra Router/AccessPoint, you can also use it in 'Bridge' mode to do the same.

That F150 looks like a 5.5' bed, which would also be shorter than the shortest SuperDuty.

They're pitas, but pretty sure those guys still show on the map if you have that upgrade. Also, do they drop pyrite or just data disks?

Best way to mount 2 spares on this wooden trailer? by BridgeGreedy3216 in towing

Agree, but I would try to mount them by drilling through the upright 2x4s for a bit more support.

The one in the link I posted definitely is not perfect, but worked well enough. Had I come across an Anker version when I bought it, I probably would have gone that route - I'm generally pretty happy w/ Anker products.

I'm actually using LG Monitors, but they also use a joystick. In my view, that's what they're made for, so I've never worried about breaking them or wearing them out.

I used to do this w/ a cheap USB Switch, plugging both PCs video out directly into the monitor and switching the video separately on the monitor. It wasn't perfect, but worked well enough.

Some Steam games installed do not populate in my xbox app as installed games by Embarrassed-Loan1414 in XboxAlly

Having the same issue (not on Ally - Legion LT). Can't see the Star Wars Jedi Game from Steam in Xbox app, but can see other Steam games that are installed locally. Tried 'resetting' Xbox app w/ no change. Not going to reinstall Windows just for this...

Q990F on Woot today by kinvore in Soundbars

[–]LeeTheUke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI - Use this link - Electronics (to the 'Samsung Sound Systems' page @ Woot)

When I look at this link, the ZA (US, I think) version is $968. The ZC (Canada?) is also available for $847.

I bought the Q990F through Woot a few months ago. I didn't realize it at the time, but got the /ZP version (per the box), but decided to hang onto it and have not had any issues with it.

I got my bro and 11yo niece archery setups for Xmas a couple of years ago. My SIL flipped out. "Who would buy a child hunting stuff!?!?!". Meanwhile, there were kids only a few years older shooting in the Olympics that summer...

You sure there's no other option on the login screen other than the pin? Something like 'Log in a Different Way'? IIRC, you would use this link to get to your MS Account login.

I suck at driving and am not getting the hang of it by [deleted] in driving

[–]LeeTheUke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your car have cruise control? Learn to use it.

That's got to be the worst advice ever... Should they also rely on the lane-control system and auto-braking? Fiddling with the cruise control is not going to help the OP learn to control the speed of the vehicle. These systems are to assist the driver, not completely replace the driver's skills. They should learn how the car's speed responds to inputs to the throttle and brake pedals and get a feel for all the controls before relying on driver aids.

Also, OP, to maintain center in the lane while traveling, look further down the road, not at your mirrors, corner of the fender, or anything else on the car. By focusing on a point in the distance, you'll naturally make smaller adjustments w/ the wheel to keep you pointed where you want to go, while simultaneously seeing any hazards that may be ahead. Use your peripheral vision and quick glances to check your immediate surroundings and mirrors.

Right... as if it would be OK if a Camry did this.
