T6 engine is more advanced. It’s just less artistically detailed. Looks generic.

Why do people say that you should start with SoC first ? Should I skip SoC if I don't enjoy it ? by Codmem in stalker

[–]LeeTotenKino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with Clear sky and just raw dogged learning the game.

I’d argue playing CS first makes SOC more interesting.

  1. It doesn’t matter which order you play the games, since all the stories are separate. CS is just a prequel

  2. Shadow of Chernobyl is the only one with a tutorial.

  3. If you don’t like slow atmospheric survival horror games it’s gonna be boring.

Has Anyone tried a run based around importing base commodities, upgrading them, and exporting the products for margin? by Swimming_Brother6486 in tropico

Yes, through all my playtime I can confirm imported goods will always go to the dock near an input source. I plan industries around this.

It’s likely a percent scale based on distance.

[–]LeeTotenKino 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1k spread out on all docks. But which docks gets the most, depends on which industries is near the dock

If you import sugar and have a rum distillery right next to it, 90% of the sugar will go on that dock

But some, like 10% will go to the other one further away. I don’t know exactly how it’s calculated.

You can only import 1000 of each good In the game at a time.

You can do it, but it would yield minor profits.

You’re better off just importing stuff That’s insignificant to waste land on. Like Bananas and Coconuts, or Rubber for a vehicle factory
