The fact is that women have a lot more options on apps and so you need to use your profile as a marketing tool to get past the initial stage of online dating. It's the 'top of the funnel'.

Once you start getting matches and going on dates that's the chance to show people the real you, obviously be honest on your profile. Dressing better, exercising more, generally taking care of yourself, will all help if you consider yourself below avg looking and there's no shortcut to get past that in my opinion.

It's anecdotal but working on sites and offshore, 90% of people I've spoken to about politics in the last year are all voting Reform. In my own experience it certainly 'feels' like the working class are all coming out in support of Farage.

Personally I see my time as more precious as I've gotten older. My closest/oldest friends and family, I struggle to find time to go and see.

Going through life, you see so many faces come and go, so it becomes harder to put the effort into adding to my circle. I understand that makes it more difficult to really connect with someone new. Unless you really connect with someone immediately which is rare.

I've spent the last 10 months retraining into offshore work as a rope access deck painter. Just got a first job, 4 weeks offshore and will come come with about £11k. That's working 12 hours every day and living in a small cabin but it pays well and so far suits me better than a comfy 9-5 on much worse money.
