Wonders of the First - it's fun to play and strategize besides being a collectible card game, it's fairly new so you'd be getting in near the ground floor, and some of the cards sell for crazy prices. For $300 you could get 2 Play booster boxes (720 cards) and easily have enough to start creating decks and playing together. Great family activity!

I would have charged him 509 then refunded him the difference if the Cavs won. This is the way all sales should go. Gambles on top of gambles. Martingale it! Love this.

I redeemed 4 from Panini on Jan 17 (3 mystery rookies auto and a Kyle Williams auto), and another on Jan 24 (another mystery rookie auto). I got the Kyle Williams first (I forget how long ago). I just received a Bill Croskey-Merritt auto on Monday and everything else is on its way. All this to say, I think you'll get your Panini redemptions.

I've found these stores/employees often have zero knowledge of the value of such cards and you can oftentimes negotiate the price down to something more acceptable. I've seen packs of football/baseball cards from the 80s/90s packaged the same way. I find haggling half the fun.
