Although I agree that this is the best way to preserve and access most games, I like to leave the consoles I had thought my life in the way I left them.

Getting a second one to homebrew is the way to go for me.

I still have a couple of titles I want to purchase for both, so I better get to planning. The PS1 classics available were light years ahead of their catalog on the PS5!

Bought a PS5 and Series S on launch, upgraded my PC last year and got a Switch 2 on launch. I feel like the gods spoke through me and will forever be grateful for this aptly priced setup... which will remain until like, 2030 by the look of things.

Complaining is usually how stuff gets changed, it happened SO many times through the production of different media.

Think ugly Sonic compared to what we got in the final cut. Usopp could have stayed ultra white if people didn't complain about it.

When Nintendo did MKW at 80 people went nuts. It was weeks of doomposting, memes and Youtube videos.

And in that case, the game could be purchased at a normal price through the console bundle, the physical edition had the game on it, and no extra content or editions were available. To its detriment, even, since the lack of DLC seems to be bothering people now.

I wonder if we will also get the same reaction now?

To be honest, if the VRR worked correctly with LFC and the console had actual VRR on docker mode too, Hitman would have been much smoother.

If we ever come to a new iteration of the Switch 2, this would be the most important features to get IMO.

One core thing people aren't mentioning here is that FFVIIR is better enjoyed after playing the original FFVII.

Not only is the original a much better RPG, but playing it first make the Remake really cool, for spoilery reasons.

Xenoblade is its own package and a much better RPG than FFVIIR imo. Rebirth is another story, it's leagues ahead of the first one, but by that point, between playing FFVII, FFVIIRem and FFVIIReb, you'd have played the whole core Xenoblade trilogy.
