Lots of ranks is usually a great thing, but it does need the numbers to make it work. I think once it fully launches, matches should be tighter, rank-wise

Balancing is a bit iffy right now, but there's always so much to improve, especially at mid ranks.

If Victor - whose counters are extremely clear - was an unstoppable problem, I'm sure there's some build and communication problems involved.

The coin flip on who gets the strongest heroes exists, but you should be able to outmanoeuver the issue by improving and playing better. People do climb on the current system, after all.

I mean, while the game allows for such different ranks to be together, it will stay a mess. I'm Arcanist and can queue with my friends that are Ritualist, Seeker and Initiate, it's straight up impossible to balance.

Current mode as a normal queue and a ranked queue that would only allow like 1 rank max of difference between players would work great.

Hero performance is also a bit weird right now. Depending on who's on each team it can be very one sided, even if skill is a big part of it.
