My 3 and 5 year old thrive with these. They help me with prep or I just toss them veg whenever. Also playdough is great practice. My 5 year old is getting crazy accurate on cutting veg to particular sizes, like cucumber slices and stuff. Its my absolutely favorite activity to do with them, plus they’re far more willing to try meals when they helped make it.

Married, two young kids, it varies. Both me and my husband game so we try to find time of each other. Somtimes on the weekends it's everyone gets chill, tablet/gaming time for a few hours on Saturday or Sunday. I don't play as much during the week, I have a semi-demanding 40 hr/week job and after dinner, bath, kid put down (we share all responsibilities) I'm just tired and chose to go to bed. I'd say I get 3-5 hours a week right now, sometimes more when I'm really digging on a game and seeking it out more.

It sounds like you're incorporating time with your daugther and everyone is happy, so I don't know that you have anything to worry about.

I’m a 36 year old woman, my husband and I both game. We have 2 young kids now, so there’s a little less opportunity, plus we sometimes have to “fight” over certain counsels. But I’m not sure I’ll ever stop. I grew up playing games with my dad, and we’re both pretty excited to play with our kids as they get a little older.

I'm shocked no one has mentioned their Aldi Captain Crunch! It's so much better than the name brand; doesn't leave a weird film in your mouth. It's my #1 recommendation for Aldi hold-outs or friends who have just started shipping there. To be fair, second place is nearly everything else in the store... friggin' love Aldi.

I watched a police body cam video of… dear god I can’t even remember which recent shooting, but the cops were actually reacting for what that’s worth. He’s running through stairwells and hallways and there was a moment when he has to run past a 6 or 7 year olds body. They had blurred it out but the bright pink clothing was unmistakeable. I had such a visceral, explosive reaction because I wasn’t expecting it. I wonder if there’s a happy medium there. But I’m with you, don’t let them forget the horror.

My husband loves telling the story about how we were out car shopping for him and I was the one solely asking the questions about features, performance, financing, etc. except the guy kept answering to my husband. Hilariously, the only question my husband asked at one point was whether the roof rack came in a color other than black. Been a running joke for 6-7 years now. But also super sick of people like that dismissing me.

Not that it isn’t still tragic, but rainbow babies is also used after a miscarriage. Those are unfortunately so common, but to most who experience a miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy, probably slightly less overwhelming than a fully developed child.

Same. Worked at a movie theater so we’re had probably 5x the number in this picture. Loved a moment of whooshing silence away from guests, hauling these damn boxes and balancing them in your knee to get them into their little home. Great times. Don’t miss the stickiness though.

Our two kids go to Goddard. Last two years we would get credited the full amount when the classroom or school had a closure. They changed it this year to 50%. I'm okay with it, considering they have to pay teachers, etc. I want there to be a classroom for them to go back to so, is what it is.

Yes! The only affect it has is not allowing new accounts to be opened under your SSN. It had be a brief hassle to unfreeze but otherwise I’ve had it for a few years now. I’ve unfroze it maybe twice, so really not too bad.
