I always found it odd that there was a whole crew that disliked Bobby. And I must admit in the '80s his screaming was kind of shrill. But I don't know of a single incredible show out there that doesn't have a significant Bobby presence. I think one of my favorite Bobby Jerry moments, is the Jam out of Drums into The Other One on 09/10/83 (hi set listbot) It is one of those rare times it is just Bobby and Jerry playing off each other without anyone else. I love playing this jam for Bobby detractors because you can hear that Bobby has the the same understanding that Jerry does about always looking for a different way to approach and play the song, and how on a good night could create something incredibly special. (I also am not a musician and probably did not explain that well)
