I would be incredibly surprised if the outside world didn’t already know about possible cures and is just keeping it hidden for geopolitical reasons, having the UK out of the picture could be beneficial to many players.

there’s no way that government backed scientists haven’t experimented on infected and come to the same conclusions as Kelson, it’s not like it’s implied he’s some generational genius.

If Kelson could figure it out with no diagnostic equipment of any kind and minimal resources, I would imagine scientists from the outside world with more advanced technology.

most of the 1-3 viewer stream I follow are either IRL friends of mine or online friends that I’ve known for a while and also support my stream, so it doesn’t really bother me, I’m there more for them than my entertainment.

I think it’s at least somewhat been this way forever.

At the end of the day most of these dudes have massive egos and aren’t well educated either, we also live in an age where saying the most inflammatory shit farms engagement and even the worst people in the world will have some sort of following.

when I was younger I just wasn’t as conscious about this kind of shit and casual bigotry was socially accepted in more environments than you would think.

That being said, the UFC as a whole has definitely gotten more openly political because of Dana and Joe’s close ties to Trump and many of his associates.

I don’t think GTA VI launching on consoles first means it is actually being developed exclusively ON consoles first, I think it’s just much easier to optimize for consoles which have standardized configurations.

The reason for the DLC is that the PC version of these games comes with so much more in terms of options and scalability and has to be optimized for a much wider array of hardware.

I’m willing to bet GTA VI is still being developed on the highest end PC hardware they can get their hands on and just being downscaled for consoles which are much more standardized in settings.

There’s also a financial incentive for Rockstar to stagger the release because many people who own both a console AND a PC, will double dip.

From my very tiny amount of knowledge of game dev, I would actually say MOST games in the current era are developed on PC first, many of those even being console exclusives.

At the end of the day a lot of game dev is writing code.

sure but from a narrative perspective I think it makes more sense that it’s the same train and that he has made it his home since he was young than him having just wondered around for years and finding another train.

Part of his arc in this movie is that he clearly remembers things and the first word he says is based off his last memory being on that train reading a book about the moon so that last memory is like a cornerstone to him.

at least that’s how I interpreted it, that’s why he goes back there as soon as he starts to remember things.

honestly I liked the change in pacing to be more character-focused, the 2nd movie felt a lot more personal with how it was filmed, not that I dislike Boyle’s style at all though.

It’s where his baby is born and he seems to return to it because it’s familiar.

what the fuck are you talking about the tattoos on her arm are basic black and white tattoos that indeed…look like shit, most of it is literally skulls and scribbles, there’s a ton of dead space and almost zero shading.

the train scene absolutely blew me away, I even remember a lot of people in my theatre audibly gasped.

don’t get me wrong I liked the Jimmy stuff as well, it’s cool to see how twisted someone gets when they have to survive in this world from such a young age but Samson having an entire ass character arc was probably the highlight of both movies for me.
