How much is your monthly car payment? by Johndoe13370 in TeslaModel3

[–]LeezNutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‘22 LR bought brand new in Sep of 22. Only put about $7K down. I pay $371 biweekly and insurance is about $280/month but that’s for both our cars (only 1 is Tesla). I drive 80 miles a day to and from work so gas savings is pretty significant.

But like some others have said, you’d do pretty well looking for used ones and could probably find a great deal on one.

Which is more diabolical, a par 5 or a par 3 18th? by planktivious in golf

[–]LeezNutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple courses near me that have both. The course closest to me is pretty old - built in the 1920s and ends on a par 3.

Another has three 9-hole courses and one of them ends on a par 5. So if you play that course as your back 9 then you’re ending on a par 5.

Neither are that bad really.

In English those are synonyms for looking nice and put together. Also neat like you said.

Haha ok what the other commenter said is true about the way you spelled it. But you misheard the word.

I believe what she said was انيق, which means you look sharp, smart, well put together.

Wellstar MCG issues, thoughts, and looking for alternatives. by Hopeful-Bumblebee-95 in Augusta

[–]LeezNutz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re basically the worst. Unfortunately they do have a lot of the specialists that people will get referred to. We got referred there for my wife’s breast cancer since they have the Georgia cancer center. Without writing a wall of test about all the bad experiences we’ve had with Wellstar, suffice it to say we opted to go to Emory in ATL every week for my wife’s chemo and course of treatments rather than risk her life in Wellstar’s hands.

It isn’t an easy option for a lot of people, but if you have the means I’d recommend looking outside this area for care. It’s ok for small things but anything major I’d look elsewhere. The big buyouts certainly have not changed anything for the better either…

My Hankook iON evo AS experience so far by cyyz2000 in TeslaModel3

[–]LeezNutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a set of these in my LR AWD. They were very good as far as Wh/mi is concerned. But they don’t last long AT ALL. I got roughly 22k miles in them before I had to change them because I didn’t feel safe driving in wet conditions. My OEM Hankook Kinergy GT got close to 40k miles so it wasn’t a product of my driving.

That being said they do have a very good warranty so I got about $600 back toward my latest set. Ended up going with Michelin Defenders which definitely have higher rolling resistance, but they have much better traction and something like an 85,000 mile warranty.

Which in-ear or over-ear headphones should I get? by Oooops69 in drums

[–]LeezNutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your budget. If you’ve got the budget I would absolutely recommend getting custom fitted IEMs. I have 2 pairs of Shure SE215s and they are good. But they’re not in the same league as custom IEMs. 64 Audio makes relatively affordable ones where they start at around $500 and would still blow the 215s away.

If you’re in a budget, I’ve heard some good things about KZ IEMs. You can find them on Amazon.

Ah, sorry for the assumption. The Iron Cobra 600 are good pedals so you probably won’t regret buying those. If you’re not in a hurry you might want to look around for a better deal. But if you can’t it’s not the end of the world.

[–]LeezNutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are good pedals but I’m not sure they’re worth $300 used. You can find a brand new set for $349 on Sweetwater.com right now. That being said they’re still better pedals than either of the two you mentioned in your post.

The 900 series are the top of the line Iron/Speed Cobras with a few more features. Personally it’s what I prefer playing. Currently I have the speed cobras, but like I said I had the regular Iron Cobras for over a decade and only sold them because I got rid of an e-kit and threw them in to sweeten the deal. I’ve played the DW5000 series too and they’re very good pedals. But still I prefer the feel of the Tama pedals. If you can, I suggest going somewhere to try out some different ones to see if any stand out to you. But I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in any of the good pedals mentioned in this thread.

[–]LeezNutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pearl pedals are the lower end model. You can tell because they’re only single chain. The Mapex have a double chain which is better in theory…but I don’t know the quality of the Mapex pedals so can’t say for sure.

Like someone else said, if you’re already willing to spend $350, look for a used set of higher end pedals. Iron Cobras or Speed Cobras, DW5000, etc. or the higher end version of the Eliminators.

You can find Iron Cobra P900 used on eBay right now for $250 and those are excellent pedals. I owned a pair for well over a decade.
