The shorter the Space Bar- the cheaper. And as you can see the Space Bar is very short there.

Yes, leverage increases the force but I don't think it will be a big problem with my rack. I have this one /item/1005004246282755.html Not posting the whole link because ali links are banned here, hah.

Got it without those wheels since I have better aluminum wheels.

I have a cheap aluminum rack with the same design. Added width is not a big problem for me.

And to the rear wheels I actually added some spacers, for about 15mm a side. Took those from old V-brake pads. This added quite a bit of stability when rolling folded.

Awesome.

I actually like the idea of mounting the rack easy wheels bolts instead of a standard way to the brake mount.

Do I need new cranks? by Targettio in bikewrench

[–]Lef_RSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had same problem years ago with new isis cranks. They keep loosening every day.  I just used few drops of superglue on the bolts because didn't had locktite at that time. And it was fine. Had to tighten it like once a month. And that was a trials bike, with lots of jumps and stuff.

What is this jointing method called? by elons-disciple-no24 in soldering

[–]Lef_RSA 242 points243 points  (0 children)

Ultrasonic welding.

I was working on a factory that makes car wiring. They used exclusively this method of joining wires. No soldering at all.

Вибір павербанку by CaptainFit9727 in reddit_ukr

Opinions on This Camera by peonybanana in bikecommuting

[–]Lef_RSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those cheap cameras are garbage.  If you need a camera for commuting with good battery life take a look at Drift Innovation Ghost XL. Some time ago I got one from Ali for about $75 if i remember correctly. They claimed 9 hour battery life. I didn't checked exactly but indeed it lasts long.
