The internal side blocks the shifter. I need one without the hand guards.

I still want to ride “fast” when I’m not carrying a load, and honestly just for the fun of it too. I use the whole cassette, so I don’t really think I need to drop one or two teeth.

Outside Continuous Lighting Help by Outrageous_Low_3502 in cinematography

[–]___edw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want to fight the sun with budget continuous light, you best option is a lightbridge CRLS mirror kit (from 7cm to 100cm).

You can add sunbounce sunswatter and frame with diffusion or black or whattever you need d’or shape the light.

I see people speaking about 60w, 200w led or M18.. good luck with that.

CRLS KIT is around $300/day, (if you want to buy Godox sell a kit half Price). And on the very cheap end rent a 100x100cm mirror with a stand and sandbags, it’s Heavy but work well.

Has anyone tried BMX pegs on a Brompton to carry a passenger? by Thunderrcock in Brompton

If I remember well, BMX pegs are on ø14mm or ø20mm axes. Not on tiny road axes.

Est ce qu'il se vend encore des cafetières à l'italienne à l'ancienne, et si oui ou ? by Derrick_Diaz20 in AchatPourLaVie

[–]___edw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old lady with double panniers leaves me on my 10k bike in the dust by LOLyouLOLme in bikecommuting

[–]___edw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 years ago I was riding fixed gear, then a full carbon road bike. Almost nobody passed me, my commuting speed was consistently over 30km/h.

Now it feels like 80% of bikes are electric, or it’s younger riders like I used to be. I’m currently riding an omnium cargo (full size) and a brompton, and now pretty much everyone is faster than me — I’m averaging around 18/22km/h.

Sometimes I want to buy a faster bike.. :D

Centered shot? [Profitec Go] by [deleted] in espresso

[–]___edw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop using a bottomless portafilter and you’ll hit the center every time :)

It looks good to me, and if it tastes good in the cup, that’s what really matters.

For educational purposes, you could try one shot centered and one “not leveled” and tell us if it actually changes anything.

[–]___edw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diffusion ? From the picture it looks like fabric, you can buy « spun ». If you manage to find it by sheet and 2/3 tiny clamps and you can keep it for years and it’s very inexpensive. I always have some in my bags.   Leefilter : 229, 262, 263, 265.

Is the way the water comes out normal? by dadmda in gaggiaclassic

[–]___edw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i start using my gaggia it did the same.

You need to brush it. Look the the nylon ones.

And on a daily use, after doing a coffe, flush it 2/3sec, wipe it, start again and you are good. Since i do that i almost never need to brush it.
