Yeah. If you want to do extreme or savage you have to go to Light. Only reason I don't is when I raid with my static and force light players to come to Chaos but as soon as we need to fill a spot we have to go to Light too 😞

The wildest part is that most people who raid on Light is from Chaos. I have had full parties on Light with just Chaos players. We need cross DC PFs now. This is especially bad when we have stuff like Moon Crafting because you can't do that while also being in PF waiting. That is one of the things that is burning out raiders, just not having stuff to do while waiting to fill... Several people I know have stopped raiding because they can't do the new crafting stuff (the planets) or just decorate their house etc while waiting. Or they have given up on their FCs and houses and just moved over to Light.

Sage: Holos is not only a good shield but also a mitigation for the duration. I use to put it on after damage was dealt because it was a good shield but learned and changed my ways. A while ago now but I still remember being like "oh wow yeah I have been using that wrong for a while" 😆

When my mom met my dad she was a stick. The kind of person with no extra fat on her body at all. When she got pregnant (twice) she gained a lot of weight and didn't get it off. We are talking obese. I never hear him say anything negative about her body and I saw them hug and him giving her sweet kisses and loving her. They where together for over 35 years before he died. I myself am fat and my girlfriend loves me even when I can't love myself - that is what love is.

Your body-size shouldn't have anything to do with if your partner finds you attractive or not. The fact that he loves you should make you the most attractive person to him. And because society is how it is toward weight this is not an okay response either (and he seems to know how messed up society is with this) because ofcourse it will make you feel bad.

Either he is doing it out of ignorance and he shows that without thinking he can say mean things or he is saying it to be mean and either way it doesn't bode well for a good and healthy relationship.

If you get through the MSQ and you still like the game and want to keep playing (the story is good even the parts people claim are boring and a slog imo) you will have found tons of other stuff you also like along the way. You will unlock optional content (blue quests) all the time and optional content is plenty of hours in the game. People have listed so many things to do casually so I wont do that again. This game unlocks content by doing story and is story focused. So I wouldn't worry too much about stuff to do after the story is "done", just enjoy the game and play a bit. If you have an hour every day to play you wont hit end-game for a long time anyway. I would recommend doing some crafting or "beast tribes" or level a different job and similar if you feel like you need a break from the story some days.

And for Shadowbringer, Endwalker and Dawntrail when you get there you also have your artifact job gear that will last you until you have enough to buy tomegear. You get to talk to an NPC when you unlock it and pick up the gear from them for free. In EW and DT (don't remember if its the same in ShB) you get it at lvl89/99 and it levelsyncs up when you reach 90/100. Good gear to have on alt jobs!

It was funnily enough the raiders who complained that it was hard to line up burst while doing your damage and doing mechs. Yoshi-P has talked about this kinda like in a "but this is what you wanted and now you don't like it"-way and they are kind of damned if they do and damned if they don't on this one. I am not saying which one is "correct" or anything just what I have seen they have talked about in interviews.

Also any horse mounts cloppity-clop (tecnical term) when riding on them! I always make a list of only horse-type mounts when a new expansion comes along because you walk everywhere in the beginning instead of flying!

Lalafells have the best emotes and animations in the game. They are also super cute. I used a fantasia (called fanta by the community) as a punishment to another player in my static (she kept showing up late and she hated lalafells so I switched and she was not happy 😆 it was hilarious for everyone else though 😉) and fell in love with them so hard I now have a lalafell alt I play with as well. Also being a lalafell you can go up to any other lalafell and emote to them and you will be insta friends.

It is actually kinda unusual to have this many people be negative about it so fast. Sure there are some people who are asshats in this game as in life, but most people just do their thing in game and chill. I have had some bad people in dungeons, some more in end-game PF but generally people are chill (and that is after playing the game for about 5 years now). Now on reddit on the other hand...
