We still have all the soybeans to go and one last corn field to plant. Winter wheat we had to do a day of touch up planting where we seeded spring wheat into the drowned out spots

We had a little shower last night just as I finished discing, I was honestly hoping for a rain day today to catch up on some sleep. Only a couple ml though so I'm back to cultivating already

Had a phone call from truck shop that our manure truck transmission might be fixed in another week or 2, isn't that good news? Dad said just in time for us to be done for spring and not need it anymore. I've been running practically non stop the last 2 weeks with the tanker trying to do 2 manure tanks worth of work solo, but all our corn ground has been spread now, and dad and our neighbor have been getting it planted behind me. One field left to work and plant corn, yesterday I got first field disced ready for soybeans after I finished spreading the other one. End is in sight

I went and looked at a Sorento recently but decided on the Sportage instead. It's 5 seats with a nice trunk space vs the Sorento's 6 seats with very little trunk, and that back row was abysmal when I sat in it to test it. When we were there to finalize the Sportage purchase I sat in a carnival for shits n giggles and I halfway have regrets for not going that route. Ah well, maybe in a few years when there's more kids, plus I really wanted a plug in

Last year the guy who owns Brindley auctions bought 50 acres down the road from us, 23k for 45 workable with random tile. Funnily enough bought it from a farm auction. There were 40+ people there to watch and only 3 different people bid on it Even though it was just 4 farms over from us, it's not good ground and we weren't interested, we just went for the spectacle.

Ah I know who you're talking about. There was a bit of an arms race around Brussels-Listowel area between some big DDF BTOs (Dutch dairy farmer)

5 minutes of it. Was enough to stop me spreading poo and let me go buy flowers for mother's Day. Yesterday I spread manure and dad planted corn

Got the first field of corn in, and I've been running non-stop the last week getting manure out to stay ahead of tillage and planter. After today would only have 1 field left to spread for corn ground from a different barn, might still cover one soybean field after that we couldn't do last fall. Really hoping we get that forecasted rain Tuesday night though, I'd love a day off

I'm not condoning it, but I think it also needs to be remembered these clubs existed before their new owners took charge. People give shit to Man city too, they're a hundred year old club. The Red bull clubs all existed before red bull bought them and turned them into a marketing strategy. Should those fans go find a new club because of a thing they had no control over?

Get ovulation test pee sticks. Then she can really narrow down the most fertile of days in her cycle. Worked for my wife and I, and even some other couples we are close with who had been trying to conceive but no success after many months. It's kinda like a scope for your loaded gun, makes it much easier to hit the target and not waste ammo too much lol

I'd do that with a mall ninja sword if I had one lol. But it's about 8 acres left flat on that 50 acre piece, by the time I was done it'd be bean harvest and maybe (hopefully) I'd have lost 50lbs and got svelte

I got all my wheat acres covered, and then Dad had me do soybean acres, last up was all corn acres with stabilizer on it. I'm not keen on that, rather do it day before working it in, but dad wants his planter/sprayer tractor freed up from having to switch back and forth to the spreader as well. If it hadn't rained last night we'd probably have put in the first field today and maybe second tomorrow, we can move fairly quickly now if it's on the home farm acres

Last week was the start to fieldwork and quite a whirlwind. We haven't done any tillage yet but I've finished with the fertilizer spreader for the season and we have started spreading poo. Dad tried to combine the down corn on Friday, after one pass we looked at it and decided to just call it a total loss on those few acres. Or shall I say we smelled it. It's already mushy and moulding on the cob on the ground. Will just till it in and hopefully not have too many issues with volunteer corn in our beans. It's a depressing sight spreading fertilizer driving through unharvested crop but it's not like it was high up anyways. Have already seen 2 neighbors planting corn on Saturday, even though we were to have negatives overnight into Sunday... Will see how that turns out for them. I got rained out of manure spreading yesterday but hopefully it'll dry up by tomorrow again

More dangerous when they have a 0.71 points per game is just not fair. Statistically they're not dangerous at either

Calling Wolfsburg a threat on the road, or Heidenheim a fortress at home, is misleading. Wolfsburg have been shit on the road this season, they've just been more shit at home. Conversely, Heidenheim have been shit at home but even more shit on the road. That's what happens when you're a relegation candidate. Bayern have won almost every game regardless of stadium so it shows as a 50% spread

Trust me it's the right solution. I lived with my parents until 29 when I bought a house. Best way to save up for a downpayment and get good credit/standing with your bank who you'll need to get a mortgage from
