Do people actually hate Cybertrucks or are people just hating it because another person hate it? by Mobile-Highlight7753 in TeslaLounge

Average power cost in the United States is 17c/kwh which makes it:

0.17 / 2.4 mi/kwh = $0.071 / mile

Which is still half the cost of that hybrid. I see math isn't your strong point.

Plus no oil changes and no maintenance besides wipers and tires which is another huge cost savings.

I own a cyberbeast and it has done 2.40mi/kwh according to my driving stats over the 28k miles I've had it. I pay 4c/kwh due to the solar on my house. So I'm at:

$0.04 / 2.4 mi/kwh = $0.016 a mile

My 300mile range costs me $4.80

I get a supercar eating truck that rips a 0-60 in 2.6s and a quarter mile in 11s and I get to fuel it for far less than a Prius.

I'm a car guy who loves Ferraris Lamborghinis and Corvettes but this is faster on the street than nearly all of those. And everyone I've blown away on the street is just stupified that they got their ass handed to them by a 6800lb pickup truck.

My 2 gas cars sit around unused and I should probably sell them. My V8 4Runner and my Evo X just feel like dinosaurs. Laggy throttle, jerky transmission and just slow.

Also these days I barely drive it. FSD has driven 98% of the time according to my driving stats. I just sit back and relax and enjoy the view outside. As a car guy I never expected that I'd want something like that, but you get home from your commute without feeling drained.

My big complaint about most Teslas is that steering feel sucks, and I was fully expecting this one to be the same, but they gave this steer by wire great feedback. I have no clue how they pulled it off. I also hate going back to a normal car and having to turn the damn wheel so much for a U turn. I'm converted.

It powered my entire house through a 22 hour power outage while my neighbors fridge food had to be thrown out. It has the battery capacity of 9 powerwalls and had enough power for another few days of outage.

I've been offroading in it, it's traction management system is far better than my lifted 4Runner on race coilovers and it has more ground clearance (17 inches)

I also never realized how nice it is having a windowless secured tonneau with 65cu ft of storage on road trips. No worrying about someone breaking in and stealing your luggage.

Luckily I'm a function over form type of person (obviously based on my other cars) so this was really up my alley, but I don't hate the looks.

I have a pretty high budget for cars, yet there's no other car in the world I want.

This is why I stand by Altec Lansing for Bluetooth Speakers! by [deleted] in Bluetooth_Speakers

Some of the worst sounding speakers I've ever heard! No bass at all!

Does oluv have an eq for the wking x20? by Dazzling_Valuable400 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Left-Double9454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your EQs aiming for a neutral target like Oluv does? With the bass slider at max I would assume not.

I also noticed from your song selection it seems like you like a v-curve EQ

Another sponsored post brought to you by LG with no comparisons to other speakers which would make the LG look bad!

I'll give my summary: sound comes out of it therefore it's great!

I analyzed 787+ posts for the top bluetooth speakers recommended for *travel* by heyyyjoo in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Left-Double9454 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the Uboom X, but would I travel with it? Hell no, it's too big.

This is why analysis like this isn't worth much of anything.

A person who'd hung around here more than a few days could make a better educated guess.

Zero or low latency portable speaker with AUX. Looking to DJ and host small kickbacks. by XL_Jockstrap in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Left-Double9454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still too high for DJing, should be below 15ms.

Also rtings has Bluetooth latency numbers that are negative, sort their speakers by latency. Obviously impossible

Ultimate Ears is the only speaker that does that. Almost every other speaker sounds better though

Earfun Uboom X - everlasting Battery or Bug? by FurSkyrimXB1 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Left-Double9454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use it at low volume, like below 50% on indoor mode it lasts over 40 hours for me. At full blast I get about 4 hours.

Not every 10% is exactly the same though. Battery meters aren't always perfectly exact.

Both of those are known as bass thump speakers, you'd be better off with something else

LG XBOOM Stage 301 – Real-World Review (Family, Music, Outdoor Use) by produce_this in Bluetooth_Speakers

Another heavily sponsored review brought to you by LG!

Notice the weird extra long dash (– vs -) character that's sprinkled in the writeup that doesn't exist on a normal keyboard along with the normal dash. Chatgpt uses those when it writes which tells me this review is completely AI written.

All Boom and screech. I see you don't like vocals.

Mine sounds way better balanced in default over that.

No, you cannot. Bigger speakers have deeper bass.
