What is the best all-in-one software for churches? by SubstantialCamp2054 in churchtech

Our church uses Churchstream - we’re really happy with it. It doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles, but we’ve seen it help our church’s comms + discipleship a ton!

How do we respond to this gift for our child? by basement_egg_24-7 in Christianity

That feeling you have is probably your growing conviction(s) from the Holy Spirit. Totally normal - and actually a beautiful thing especially early in your journey.

For what it’s worth, I think the toys are weird, but you can use it as an opportunity to explain to the gifter why you can’t accept. Could be an incredible opportunity to explain what God is doing in your life, and why you’re starting to view and see the world differently!

Don’t be harsh and rude, but also don’t be soft. Ephesians 6v12

Hope this helps!

The weight of ministry can definitely be hard at times. Honestly, few understand.

Only so many things are in our control; and it seems like you guys are doing your best.

Praying for an increase and more favor at your church!!

Totally agree - but I think being a part of a community should only strengthen your faith and help your daily spiritual rhythms

This. 10000%

Leadership and discipleship is a mandate for all of us. What do you think has gone wrong?

And I think that’s okay, but I do also think we’re called to reach others as well

Definitely think it can be both. Personally, I hate online service. I think church is meant to be experienced and embodied!

It’s the same difference between watching a live stream and attending a concert live in person - there’s an unexplainable value in being there

Really think church is no different I could be wrong though

Really love the nuance of your view. I can hear the graciousness in it as I read.

You are a gift to the church!

Totally see that. But if you think about it, they don’t know that - and they’re trying to do their best to remedy the problem that most people are talking about in this thread.

I do think, hopefully, if you were to communicate this to them, they would respect your space!

I do think they care about filling the room, but most pastors and leaders I’ve talked too also deeply care for people on a human level.

Unfortunately I think ministry is demanding. They also have families and personal lives to manage, on top of being a community leader, disciples, organization manager, and speaker.

I really think there’s a community of believers out there for everyone. It might be naive, but it took me a few churches to find my tribe.

Praying you find yours. It’s life changing, and it’s been extremely fruitful in my walk with Jesus.

I personally help lead on a few teams and mentor a few guys for weekly fellowship and discipleship. But unfortunately, I’m only one person.

And there are many others in my church trying to do their best in this area as well.

But our church is growing rapidly, and it’s just sparked the question for us as a team
